ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD WEDDING FAVORS:

Hello there! I wanted to share these sweet little favors I made for an upcoming wedding. I want to thank Marcia~aka Heartsmiles for doing all the work and figuring out the dimensions for these. You can see her samples here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/attachments/demo-business-talk-f27/294676d1401396616-dscf5362.jpg. The wedding colors are black & white, so the Back To Black DSP worked perfect!

After I cut, punched and assembled them, I put a Hershey's Kiss & a Hug in each one. You could probably fit 2 of each inside if you're wanting to give a little extra love:) I then tied up each end using Basic Black Baker's Twine.

I decorated the little bonbons with 1" circles in Basic Black & Whisper White Cardstock and added a banner on top made with the Bitty Banner Framelits and Big Shot. I stamped the sentiment from a retired set~I didn't have a current set that tiny. I then punched the heart out of Pink Pirouette Cardstock using the retired small heart punch, but you could easily substitute the current heart in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I finished them off with a Basic Rhinestone Jewel.

I got quite the upper body work-out making these, and was sore for several days afterwards. Each favor requires about a dozen punches and I made over 100 of them! Here's where the original ideas came from: http://patternedpapercrafts.blogspot.ca/2014/05/hersheys-gift.html and here:

TEA PARTY!:

Hello there! I just got home and got everything cleaned and put away from our tea party at church today. Alot of work, but alot of fun:) This is the table my daughter Emily and I did. We had a vintage, kind of old-school theme. I'm sorry the lighting isn't the best, but you get the idea. I wish I could have been more on the ball and got pictures ahead of time, but yeah, that never happens:(

I went to a thrift shop and found quite a bit and got the rest at an antique mall in town.

You may recognize the paper I used to cover the paper maiche boxes-Flowerpot, Fashback and the Subtles Designer Paper Stack. I added some Blushing Bride Baker's Twine along the rims as well.

I found a bunch of mismatched cups and saucers and used those to hold a favor for each. I stuck a Tea Lace Doily in the bottom of a Gusseted Bag that I trimmed down a bit and filled with chocolate~well not 'filled'...some of the chocolate magically disappeared??? I made a sweet petite tag using the brand new Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit Die. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped in Lost Lagoon ink. I punched out 2 flowers in what I thought was Blushing Bride, but was actually Pink Pirouette, using the Boho Blossom Punch. I scrunched them up and popped a Basic Pearl Jewel in the middle. I put the tags on with Blushing Bride Baker's Twine and tied them up.

I made the placecards using a Whisper White Cardstock tent and added a border at the top made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border. I used the same DSP and baker's twine as the boxes. I used Four Frames in Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Lost Lagoon & Blushing Bride ink and punched them out with the Decorative Label Punch. I used a retired set for the tea cups, colored them with the same Markers and yes, cut them all out by hand. I only needed to make 8 so it was doable. I attached them with Dimensionals.

Sorry so blurry...my poor camera had a hard time trying to figure out what to focus on.

Here's the other tables~thought you might like to see them too:

I hope you enjoyed seeing all the different tables and themes as much as I did today. Now I'm ready to kick my feet up and not do anything:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

FALL FEST TREAT BAG:

Hello there! Popping in here real quick to share another fun project with you:) This is what I gave my Hostess this month. I used one of the Chevron Tag A Bag Gift Bags and stenciled Blackberry Bliss stars all over using the Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks. They're alot of fun to use but also quite messy~I had Blackberry Biss fingers when I was all done:) I used a Sponge Dauber, but it might be les of a mess using the Stampin' Spritzer.

I made a pennant out of the Color Me Autumn DSP and stamped the happy little trio in Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow & Blackberry Bliss. The coordinating Fun Fall Framelits made it a snap to cut them out and I saved 15% on car insurance...no wait...15% off the Bundle. I used Yippee Skippe for the sentiment on Whisper White Cardstock and wrapped some Tangerine Tango Baker's Twine around it.

I've been waiting for an occasion such as this to break out one of the fun In Color Clothespins:) I finished it off by stapling a piece of Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon onto the pennant. Such a happy project that's sure to put a smile on someone's face:) I'll have some pictures of the tea party to share with you tomorrow so make sure to stop back. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

PAPILLON POTPOURRI CARD:

Hello there! Back with another card to share. I substituted this card for the Fall Fest one I posted earlier for our church Card Ministry. I figured they'd get more use out of a Get Well card than a Halloween one. I used the set Papillon Potpourri and Thoughts & Prayers for the sentiment. I started with a So Saffron base. I then used Sponge Daubers and inked up a clear block with rows of color in Soft Suede, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe & Pear Pizzazz, spritzed the block with alcohol and stamped onto the cardstock. I kind of smeared it back and forth a bit and came up with this cool watercolor background. Next I added a strip of Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape.

I then folded a Tea Lace Doily in half and added a piece of Gold Fancy Foil Vellum that I cut out with the Ovals Collection Framelits and Big Shot. I used the framelits again to cut out a piece of Color Me Autumn DSP and layered it on top. Next I stamped the butterfly image on a Window Sheet with White StazOn ink and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. I added one of the adorable mini paperclips from the Basics Hodgepodge Clips and tied a bow around it using Linen Thread.

For the finishing touch, I sprinkled on a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim and attached them with Glue Dots. Now I'm off to work on some table decorations for a tea party we're having at our church on Saturday. I'll make sure to take pictures and share when I'm done:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

QUARTER POUNDER BATTY HAMBURGER BOX:

Hello there! I don't care who you are, that's funny! Okay, maybe I'm a bit delirious, but I think today's post title is hilarious. I realize I could have inhaled too many paint fumes today though? For this fun treat holder, I used the Hamburger Box Die along with the Big Shot and a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. I used the Circles Collection Framelits for the wings and cut them in half. I then used the 1 1/4" Circle Punch to notch out the wings. I scored each wing at 1/4", folded them and attached with Liquid Tombow.

Cutting the circle in half was a little harder than I thought, but I was able to use one of the mistakes as a template for his mouth. I just drew along the curve with a White Gel Pen. Tip...do this step before you fully assemble the box. I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch with Whisper White Cardstock for his fangs. For his eyes, I used the 2 biggest circles on the Owl Builder Punch and the 3/4 " Circle Punch.

I thought the Merry Everything set was the perfect sentiment for this project, and I saved 15% by getting the coordinating punch:) I finished it off with a Basic Black Chevron Ribbon bow.

Well that's all I got today~another long day of painting. Stop back tomorrow for a card I have to share. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

FREAKY FRIENDS TINY TREAT BOXES:

Hello there! So sorry for the late post. I've been painting and running around trying to round up stuff for a tea our church is having this week-end. I've also had lots of "help" from Quinten washing the tea sets:/ I made these sweet little treat boxes for my card ladies at Club Card Night last week. I started with the adorable Tiny Treat Boxes.

I wrapped a piece of Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Crushed Curry or Bermuda Bay around each box and adhered with Sticky Strip. I then added a piece of Motley Monsters DSP on top of the ribbon and flagged the bottom. I used the fun little guys from Freaky Friends and stamped them in Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango.

I used the Postage Stamp Punch to punch out the Whisper White Cardstock. I then layered a banner underneath each using the Bitty Banners Framelits along with the Big Shot. I layered everything on top of various squares with Dimensionals in between. I finished off the top of the box with a pair of Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

I tied a piece of the chunky Two-Tone Trim around the box and tied a knot-love how the ends fray:) Finally I added a greeting using the exclusive limited time Hostess set Good Greetings-available with a $300 party in September & October. I stamped it in Basic Black ink onto Crushed Curry Cardstock and punched it out with the Banner Punch.
These were so much fun to make and the ladies loved them. They'd be a perfect project for you and your little goblins to make:) Be sure to stop back tomorrow~lots more to share! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

CYCLE CELEBRATION CARD:

Hello there! Here's the final card we made at Club Card Night. I used the set Cycle Celebration, a set I've had for awhile but rarely use. I decided it would be a perfect send-off to summer. I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a piece of Confetti Celebration DSP. This is my most favorite design of all our designer papers:) I scored it at 1/4" and folded it over to expose a Strawberry Slush border. I stamped the bike image in Tangelo Twist ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I cut it out with the help of the Big Shot and Starburst Framelits. I then used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out a Crushed Curry circle to layer underneath.

I stamped the sentiment with Basic Grey ink onto a strip of Strawberry Slush and flagged the end. I used the 1/2" Circle Punch to pop out a couple circles for the tires. I used the darkest Coastal Cabana Blendability Marker to color the Basic Rhinestone Jewels, and they turned out to be a perfect match to the Bermuda Bay in the paper. I added a Brights Button and attached the circle with Dimensionals. For the accents at the top of the card, I used the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch to punch a hole in a piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock and centered the 1/2" Circle Punch around it. I finished it off  by threading a piece of Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine through the holes and tying a bow.

It's always kinda sad to say good-bye to Summer knowing what lies ahead, but hopefully we'll have a nice long Fall to enjoy:) Make sure to check back tomorrow for a fun Halloween treat. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

NUTS ABOUT YOU CARD:

Hello there! Here's a sweet card made with my favorite Hostess set, Nuts About You. I started with a Daffodil Delight base and stamped the border image with Perfect Pennants in Daffodil as well. I used the Essentials pack with the Paper-Piercing Mat & Tool to add some interest along the edge. I flagged a piece of Sweet Taffy DSP and adhered it to the bottom of the card and added a strip of Beach House Washi Tape.

I then stamped the tree image in Soft Suede onto Whisper White Cardstock and added the cute little opossum. I colored the leaf image with an Old Olive Marker three times and punched the images out with a 3/4" Circle Punch. I attached the leaves with Dimensionals and wrapped a piece of Old Olive baker's Twine around the bottom and tied a bow. Next I used the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and punched out a heart from a piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock and used the 1" Square Punch to make the fun little accent. Finally I finished it off with a pair of Brights Candy Dots.

Such a bright & cheery card to send some encouraging thoughts:) I'll see you back here tomorrow with another card to share. Thanks so much for stopping by!

FOR ALL THINGS CARD:

Hello there! Today I have a super quick & easy card to share with you using the set For All Things. I got the idea from our demonstrator magazine and changed a few things up a bit. I started with a Very Vanilla base and cut off 1/4" on the right edge and adhered a piece of the lovely Venetian Crochet Trim. I then stamped the watercolor image in Crumb Cake. The sentiment and leaf image were stamped in Old Olive and I used the Mossy Meadow Marker to give some depth to some of the leaves.

I filled an Aqua Painter with 3 parts Old Olive ink and 1 part alcohol and tapped it on my finger to add a little splatter~it's always a surprise how it will turn out. Next I added a couple pieces of Color Me Autumn Washi Tape and finished it off with a Gold Basic Metal Button. I thread the button with a piece of Linen Thread and tied a bow, and that was all there was to it:)

I've been busy knocking out dozens of cards for our Card Ministry at church, and I'm really glad that one of them is an easy one:) Make sure to stop back tomorrow~still lots more to share! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
