SCENTSATIONAL SEASON CARD:

Hi there! Here's another Christmas card we made at Card Night this month. I used Scentsational Season and More Merry Messages for the sentiment. I also used the Holiday Collection Framelits that coordinate with the stamp set. It's a win-win: they go together perfectly, and you save 15%! I stamped the tree image in Gumball Green onto GG Cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot. I adhered the trees onto a trio of patterns from the Be of Good Cheer DSP, which are mounted onto a piece of Gumball Green Cardstock. All are mounted onto a Very Vanilla base.

I added a scalloped border underneath using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The sentiment was punched out with the Modern Label Punch. I added a strip of Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon and topped it off with a sweet little bow. For the finishing touch, I added one of the Naturals Designer Buttons with some Linen Thread through the center.

Hopefully I'll get some more cards made in the near future to share with you. Thanks so much for coming by today!

CHRISTMAS WISHES CARD:

Hello there! Here's a quick and super simple card that would be great to send to everyone on your Christmas card list. I used the adorably festive Hostess set Christmas Wishes found in the Holiday Catalog. I used a Real Red base and added some DSP from the Paper Stack. I scalloped the edge of a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I stamped Santa in Real Red and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to his hat.

I added a little more bling to his hat with some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details polka dots. I couldn't resist adding a couple of buttons also. On his beard, I used a Bitty Button with a Real Red circle underneath punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, and finished off with some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine. The larger button is from the Brights Designer Buttons and topped off with my favorite ribbon-the 1/4" Stitched Ribbon in Real Red.

I hope this jolly fella spreads some Holiday cheer and helps get you in the mood for the fast-approaching Christmas Season. Check back tomorrow for another fun Christmas card. Thanks so much for stopping by!

MAKE A MITTEN CARD:

Hello there! This is one of the cards we made at Card Night this month. I love November and December, because all we make are Christmas cards! The inspiration for this card was in our Stampin' Success demo magazine, but I stepped it up a bit. The sample was really cute and the plan was just to copy it, but I seem to be incapable in that area. I really had good intentions of going easy on my card ladies this month-maybe next month! I used the fun Make a Mitten set and coordinating Builder Punch. I started with a Crumb Cake base and decorated the edge with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. The sentiment and border were stamped in Primrose Petals and I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the greeting.

I stamped the mittens in Baja Breeze and added a Cherry Cobbler heart on each punched with the Owl Builder Punch. I finished off the mittens with the Sweater Trim in Whisper White and joined the pair with some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine. I cut strips from the Snow Festival DSP. It's hard to see, but i stamped the snowflake image in the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Pad and then went over it with the snow image in Confetti in Whipser White Craft ink.

Thanks so much for coming by. Make sure to stop back tomorrow for a fun Santa. See you soon!

OWL OCCASIONS CARD:

Happy Thanksgiving to you! This is a card I made for my nephew whoo just got his GED. I used the ever-adorable Owl Occasion set, which I will be sad to see go. I started with an Early Espresso base and ran it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The front was a little flimsy after I embossed it so it was kinda hard to get a good picture, but you get the idea. I added some Always Artichoke leaves that I punched with the 23/8" Scallop Circle Punch, and popped some up with Dimensionals.

I punched a circle out of the front using the 13/4" Circle Punch. I stamped the owl in Basic Grey and stuck him on a Basic Black branch. I stamped him again in Soft Suede, cut out his front and popped it up with Dimensionals. I made some glasses for him using the circles in the Owl Builder Punch and added some Googlies. I made a little cap using the Summer Smooches DSP and colored some Baker's Twine with a Tangerine Tango Marker, and wrapped it around a Brights Brad. I punched out his feet with the Owl Builder Punch in Soft Suede.

For the mug, I ran some Vellum Cardstock through the Big Shot using the Holiday Collection Framelits. After I cut the mug, I ran it back through with the steam shape and only cut it part way-I hope that makes sense? I used the word Window Punch for the mug design and attached the strips with Glue Dots along with the foam using the Owl Builder Punch and the steam shape Framelit. I used a Q-Tip and added some White Craft Ink around the edges. For the beer, I cut out a piece of Daffodil Delight and attached it underneath using Glue Dots.

I cut a banner in Whisper White and stamped the sentiment in Tangerine Tango. I used the Happy Hour and Fabulous Phrases sets.

For the inside, I used the retired Owl Together Now set.

Sorry, I don't know how to turn it around, but again, you get the idea.

I'm not sure Jake will appreciate the work that went into the card, but I'm sure he'll appreciate the $50 that was inside : )

I also have a few pictures of our new bathroom to share with you!

I still have a few accessories to get, but it's pretty much done.

Kinda dark-hope you can see it!

We had the old clawfoot tubs before, and I was spoiled with them, so we got 2 new ones. That meant moving 4 of those bad boys!

I can't find any before pictures, but I know I have some of the upstairs bathroom. I'll be sharing those soon, so make sure to stop back. I'll also have some of my daughter's new house-can't wait to share! Thanks for your patience with me in my irregular posting. I don't know how well I'll do in December, but I hope to have my act together in the new year. Thanks so much for coming by and have a blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones-I know I will!

MR. GOBBLES TREAT HOLDER:

Happy fall to you! It has been a little nipply out there! BRRR! I made this little treat holder for my hostess this month, who happens to be in the hospital : ( I hope this little guy will brighten her day a little.  I wanted to make her something for Thanksgiving, but didn't really have any idea what. I had a stack of empty button containers sitting on my desk, so I decided to start with one of those. I fit 7 Rolos inside and then proceeded to decorate it.

I punched out a Soft Suede circle with the 21/2" Circle Punch, which covers the lid perfectly! I punched out another circle in Crumb cake and ran it through the Big Shot using the Chevron Embossing Folder. I cut a little off the top and layered it over the Soft Suede circle. Next I punched out a couple of wings using the Large Oval Punch, and for his head I used the 13/8" Circle Punch. I used the Owl Builder Punch for his cheeks and heart, which were punched out of Riding Hood Red. His beak was punched with the Little Labels Punch Pack in More Mustard. His little gobbly-hanging thing was punched with the Bird Builder Punch in Cajun Crazy, and I added a couple of Googlie Eyes from the Holiday Catalog. The sign was stamped with the what I thought was the Simply Serif Mini Alphabet, but I think I accidentally grabbed a retired set by mistake. The sign was stamped with Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake and punched out with the Modern Label Punch. I added some Linen Thread and attached it with a Glue Dot.

For his hat, I punched out a Basic Black square with the 11/4" Square Punch, and snipped about 1/4"  off. I cut a little strip for the brim, threaded a Ribbon Slide onto it, and attached it with Dimensionals. Next. I added a bunch of feathers punched with the Modern Label Punch in Soft Suede, More Mustard, Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze. I fanned them out and glued them to the back of the container using Tombow adhesive. I finished him off with a couple of feet that were punched with the star in the Merry Minis Punch Pack.

If you're like me and you have 'gobs' of empty embellishment containers laying around, put them to good use and make some of these little guys for Thanksgiving. I hope he put a smile on your face today. Have a great one! Thanks for coming by today-gobble gobble!
