SEE YA LATER CARDS:

Hello there! I'm back with a couple more SAB samples for you. Today's cards feature the set See Ya Later. I started with a Whisper White base and covered the front with Gingham Garden DSP. I ran a piece of Whisper White through the Big Shot using the On Film Framelits. I stamped the sentiment onto a coordinating piece of DSP using Island Indigo ink and a Melon Mambo Marker.

I wrapped a piece of Island Indigo Chevron Ribbon around it and attached the frame over it using Dimensionals. I added a Brights Button with Island Indigo Baker's Twine through the center. I put a Dimensional below the knot and added a Glue Dot to the back of the button, towards the bottom and attached it.

Another pretty simple card that would surely brighten someone's day:)

Here's another one I found on the SU! site. Very simple and came together quickly. I started with a Smoky Slate base. I used a Sponge Dauber in Crisp Cantaloupe and added the random dots, pooling them at the bottom. I stamped the sentiment in Whisper White Craft Ink and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I then ran it through the Big Shot using the Hearts Collection Framelits.

I ran a piece of Pool Party from the Subtles DSP Stack through the Big Shot using the Bitty Banner Framelits. I adhered them to the heart with SNAIL and trimmed off the excess. I finished it off with a Whisper White Baker's Twine bow.

I've started to get in the habit of making extras of the cards I make to have on hand when needed. I only made one of these thinking it was a little too simple and didn't figure I'd use it, but the more I looked over at it, I thought actually, that card is pretty cute. So I drug everything back out and made some more. It would make a perfect Anniversary or baby card. So glad I have some extras:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

FEBRUARY MPP:

Hello there! As always, I was so excited to get my little red box in the mail yesterday:) This month's kit came with everything to make 5 sweet gift bags. I added a few things to give them a little extra love, but really, they are super cute on their own.

I stamped the bags with the star from the SAB set Banner Blast in Baked Brown Sugar. I added a Summer Starfruit Satin Ribbon bow and attached a Brights Button to the end of the twine. I stuffed some tissue paper inside, as I'm going to fill these up with some Grab Bag goodies to give to those who subscribed during the recent promotion:)

Unfortunately I didn't get the 7 subscribers that I was hoping for to earn the $500 Grab Bag, but I did earn the $100 one. So I'll be sharing that and adding a few surprises as well:) You can still subscribe to MPP to get in on the free markers until March 31. Can't wait to get my goodies and get them to you. Thanks to each of you who subscribed and I know you're going to love the March Kit:) Thanks so much for stopping by:)

BANNER BLAST CARDS:

Hello there! Happy Monday to you:) I made a couple of SAB cards to share with you using Banner Blast and the coordinating Punch. You can get each of these products FREE with any $50 purchase. Sale-A-Bration only goes through March 31st, so I wanted to share some samples with you before these goodies are gone for good. I started with a Crumb Cake base and stamped the background with the same color ink. The sentiment is from Seasonal Greetings and stamped in Midnight Muse.

I stamped the pennants in Summer Starfruit, Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green and Pumpkin Pie. I used the Banner Punch to punch them out and attached them using SNAIL. I added a strip of Crumb Cake that I ran through the Big Shot using the Finishing Touches Edgelits Die. I added a piece of Denim Jean Ribbon and tied a piece of Summer Starfruit twine around it~also a SAB offering. I added this piece with halved Dimensionals only along the top. I finished it off with a Regals Button bedecked with some Linen Thread. A super quick and easy card which work well for any guy, and lots of occasions.

Here's another quick and easy card that I cased from the SU! site. I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe base which I ran through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder~another SAB offering. I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and used the Simply Scored to make a frame around the edge. I measured down 1 1/4" on each side and cut a tiny slit on each side. I attached a piece of Linen Thread by securing it into the little notches on the sides and adhered it to the back using SNAIL.

I stamped the pennants with Sahara Sand and Pistachio Pudding ink, and punched them out with the Banner Punch. I ran a couple of pieces of Gold Foil through the Big Shot using the Bitty Banner Framelits. I used the Simply Scored to score the shiny pennants and folded them over the Linen Thread. I laid out the pennants where I wanted them and attached the gold ones down first with Liquid Tombow~gives you a little extra time to juggle before it dries:) I then added the other 3 pennants be running tiny dots of Liquid Tombow along the top on the back, and attached them to the thread.

I punched the little heart out of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock using the Owl Builder Punch. You could simply stamp the heart onto the pennant using the image included in the set, but I don't like fat hearts~it's just how I roll. You could make a bunch of these in a snap and it would be a perfect card for an anniversary, or just letting someone know they're loved:) I'll have some more samples with other SAB sets, so stay tuned! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

MINECRAFT BIRTHDAY CARD:

Hello there! Our sweet little Gabriel is turning 8 in a week and he loves Minecraft, so this is the card I made for him. Thank goodness I didn't part with my 1/4" Square Punch. It's long been retired, but it saved me from having to cut out hundreds of little squares!

I had a hard time finding any clear pictures of these guys, but hopefully
he'll know who they're supposed to be. I'm sure noone in their right mind would want to recreate one of these, but in case there's someone out there who's as nutty as me, here's what I used:

I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a 4 1/4" square of Whisper White Cardstock. I cut out 2" squares in Smoky Slate, Gumball Green, Blushing Bride and Baked Brown Sugar. Then I put the 1/4" Square Punch to work. I used Basic Grey, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Early Espresso, Elegant Eggplant, Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede and Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. I popped up a couple of the squares with Dimensionals to give it some depth. I cut out the sentiment by hand~not an easy task for these old lady eyes! I hope he appreciates this labor of love....but I'll probably be digging it out of the trash. Thanks so much for stoppin by:)

ST. PATTY'S DAY FAVORS:

Hello there! This is a fun little treat holder that I made for my Hostess this month and some favors that I made for my card ladies at Card Night. Ooops, I just realized I haven't delivered this to Eileen yet~I'd better get on that!

I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the little box. I dinked around with it for awhile and can't really remember what size I started with, so I hope noone asks, lol. I used Gumball Green Core'dinations and a strip of Epic Day DSP. I made the little shamrock using the Floral Fusion Sizzlets along with the Big Shot. I added a couple of Regals Buttons and Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners and stamped in Gumball Green. I cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits. I also added some of the yummy chunky twine from the SAB Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack.

I filled the treat holder with these fun little kisses. I stamped the date onto Creped Filter Paper with the Remember This & That Rotary Stamp in Gumball green. I took the Hershey's paper out and added this friendly reminder instead.

On the bottoms of the kisses, I added these little shamrocks made with the Owl Builder and Boho Blossoms Punches. First I punched out the smallest flower in Gumball Green Cardstock and then I punched out 4 of the hearts. I attached them on top of the flower with Liquid Tombow and stuck a Candy Dot in the center. I attached these to a circle of Brushed Gold Cardstock punched out with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I drew on the stem with a Gumball Green Marker. I gave these to all the gals who attended Card Night and they all thought they were cute, but that I had lost my mind. I'm way ahead of them...I've known that for a long time:)

Well I'd better get this delivered before Eileen sees it on here. Thanks so much for stopping by today:)

HIP NOTES CARD:

Hello there! Today I have the final card we made at Card Night last week. It looks innocent enough, but there was alot of work that went into this~just ask my poor card ladies. I've been wanting to show them how to make a File Folder card using the Envelope Punch Board for awhile, so we finally did. I started with a Brushed Silver Cardstock base and showed them how to make the file folder. I added a layer of Basic Black Cardstock that I embossed with the Square Latttice Embossing Folder and Big Shot. I used the Paper-piercing Tool and Mat to poke a hole in the corner and added a Brights Candy Dot, along with the base.

Next we cut and punched out about a million circles for the lens. I used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to punch out the lens out of a Window Sheet, which proved to be almost too big of a task for my poor punch. I also used the Circle Collection Framelits for the silver ring and large black circle. I made a dozen of these, so I switched to the framelits for cutting the Window Sheets. I didn't have the right size circle so I had to trim it down a bit, but it worked fine. I used Glue Dots to attach the Window Sheet to the silver ring. I then added a black circle to the back of the Window Sheet, again with Glue Dots. Then I attached it to the larger black circle with Dimensionls, and added the whole thing to the card base with Dimensionals to give it some extra depth.

Not sure if you're still with me...but if so, I then stamped one of the fun Essentials Wooden Elements in Real Red using the set Hip Notes. I used the Ticket Duo Builder Punch for the little buttons on the front and also for the window on the tab. After I punched out the center, I centered the Word Window Punch around it and punched it out. I used the Word Window Punch again in the Window Sheet and attached it to the back of the black piece with Glue Dots.

For the inside, I used the On Film Framelits along with the Big Shot and punched out a frame in Basic Black. I stamped the sentiment with Yippee Skippee and adhered it to the back. I stamped the arrow sentiment in Basic Grey and cut it out with one of the coordinating framelits. Finally, I added a little strap using Basic Grey Stitched Ribbon and a Glimmer Brad. And if all of that wasn't enough, I made them make their own envelopes with the Punch Board too! I'm exhausted from just typing all this...

They'll probably never make another one, but they did have a really fun card to take home with them:) Here's the project that I had for Club Members to make:

It's ridiculously simple I know, but I figured I needed to go easy on them after they tackled the cards:) I just used the Twisty Treats Kit from the SAB brochure, and folded the bag in half. I filled it with chocolate and stapled the tags to it. I cut one of the twisty ties in half, twisted it and tied a Calypso Coral Baker's Twine bow around it. Added the glimmer heart and called it done! I have a couple of St. Patrick's Day projects to share with you, but I think I'll save them for tomorrow, as this has been dragging on long enough. Make sure to stop back tomorrow and check them out. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

BLUE RIBBON ST. PATTY'S CARD:

Hello there! This morning I have a St. Patrick's Day card to share with you. I usually have a few customers wanting to make something for the big day. It was a challenge this year as there wasn't much in any of the catalogs, so I had to get creative:) I used the set Blue Ribbon and the always fun Rotary Stamp~This & That. I started with a Green Gumball base and added a layer of the same Core'dinations that I ran through the Big Shot with the SAB Decorative Dots Embossing Folder~another option that you can get for FREE! It reminded me of green beer bubbles so I thought it was appropriate:)

Next, I added a strip of Epic Day DSP and flagged the bottom. I stamped the banner image in Gumball Green onto Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I punched out the center circle in Gumball Green Core'dinations and used the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. The sweet little shamrock was made with the Small Heart Punch and I added a Dahlia to the center with a Glue Dot. I stamped the banner image again, cut out the tails image and attached it to the back with Dimensionals. Actually, I redid it onto the green Core'dinations and liked it much better.

I added some Pear Pizzazz Chevron and Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon and beefed up all the layers with Dimensionals. For a little fun, I attached a safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets, so that you could remove it and wear it if needed or share it with a greenless friend:) I used A Fitting Occasion for the envelope which was fitting:) I have some fun little SPD favors and a treat bag to share with you tomorrow, along with the last card from Card Night. Time to get busy again:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

BANNER BLAST CARD:

Hello there! I have another card to share with you from Card Night. I used the SAB set Banner Blast and the coordinating Banner Punch~both options that you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase. I started with a Crumb Cake base and attached a piece of Sweet Sorbet DSP, also a SAB option. I added a piece of trim to the bottom using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. I stamped the background flower image in Sahara Sand.

I stamped the outline pennant image in Sahara Sand as well and stamped it onto Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer Starfruit Cardstock. I used the Banner Punch to punch them out. I stamped the stripe and polka dot pennants in Summer Starfruit and Pistachio Pudding onto Whisper White. I placed the pennants onto the DSP Using Dimensionals. I used the set Thanks A Lot for the sentiment and cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits and the Big Shot. I added a thin layer of Liquid Tombow to the tops of the pennants and attached Calypso Coral Baker's Twine. I poked a hole in the last pennant with the Paper-piercing Tool and Mat and tied a knot in the twine.

I finished it off with a flower stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and punched it out with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I attached a Basic Rhinestone to the center and added a bow on the end made with the twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, another SAB option:) Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow!

STARBURST SAYINGS CARD:

Hello there! This is one of the cards we made at Card Night Thursday. It was a welcome relief to everyone there, as it was the easy one of the night. Poor gals, I really worked them hard! I used the Starburst Bundle~love when I can save 15% when I get the stamp set and coordinating Framelits:)
I started with a Bermuda Bay base and embossed it with the Big Shot and Alphabet Press Embossing Folder. I got the new Texture Boutique and we broke it in at Card Night. It offers a slightly more subtle impression and doesn't tear the cardstock like the Big Shot sometimes can.

The largest circle is stamped in Crushed Curry and the small ones are Bermuda Bay and Strawberry Slush. I used Kaleidescope DSP and stapled a loop of Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon to it. I used the Circle Thinlit Die with Basic Black Cardstock for the trio of chevrons. I attached the small circles with Dimensionals to add a little pop. And that's it! Super simple:)

This card works well for a guy and for any occasion. Make sure to check back tomorrow for another card that we made Thursday:)
