Hello there! I shared this card on my Facebook group SU!P FRIENDS! yesterday and showed how quick and easy it is to create. I started with a Smoky Slate base and added a layer of Come Sail Away DSP on top.
I then cut 2 strips of coordinating DSP and flagged the bottoms with Paper Snips. I adhered the bottom piece a bit off center with SNAIL. I added a couple staples to the top design and adhered it with Dimensionals.
I folded a piece of Sahara Sand/Night of Navy Baker's Twine in half and thread it through a Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishment, forming a loop. I attached the cork with Mini Dimensionals, keeping them on the bottom DSP so it would lay flush.
I stamped the sentiment onto Whipser White Cardstock with Memento black ink and used the Smooth Sailing Dies to cut it out. I adhered the sentiment to the cork with SNAIL and finished it off with a Sail Away Trinket and a Glue Dot.
This is such a perfect card for a guy-not a lot of fuss, but enough going on to make it interesting! Stay tuned for more nautical projects all week featuring my PRODUCT OF THE WEEK-the Come Sail Away Suite. Thanks so much for stopping by!
