SAILING HOME CARD:

Hello there! With the start of a brand new week, I'm going to be focusing on a brand new PRODUCT OF THE WEEK-the Come Sail Away Suite. This is another of my favorites from the Annual Catalog. I got the inspiration from Narelle Farrugia, one of the members of the Artisan Design Team. I started with a Night of Navy card base and added a layer of Come Sail Away DSP.

On top of that I added a piece of Whisper White Cardstock that I cut out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and stamped the lighthouse on with Night of Navy ink. I stamped the 2 sailboats with Night of Navy onto Whisper White Cardstock and used the Smooth Sailing Dies to cut them out. I colored them and the lighthouse with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends, and added some a shading with a Sponge Dauber and Balmy Blue ink.

Next, I added a piece of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine with Glue Dots, that I knotted on both ends first. I then added a Whisper White circle that I cut out with the Stitched Shapes Dies, with Dimensionals-clearing the twine. I adhered the smaller boat with SNAIL and attached the larger boat with rolled Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and used the 1 1/2" Circle Punch to punch it out. I attached the sentiment with Dimensionals, clearing the twine.

We only have 3 weeks until the brand new Holiday Catalog goes live, so I'm going to be focusing on my favorite suites from the Annual Catalog until then. Make plans to attend Coffee Break on Saturday, August 24th from 11-3, as this will be the last chance for you to make this card for yourself!
