Hello there! It's been a little nutty trying to get back into a routine since returning home from the Incentive Trip. I had been showcasing a Product of the Week and kind of got away from that with all the excitement. But I'm ready to get back into a routine and am going to start off August with the Bird Ballad Suite.
We only have a month until the Holiday Catalog goes live and once it hits it's going to be Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas, oh my! So I want to spend this month focusing on the Annual Catalog a little longer! I made these gorgeous little treat bags for the attendees at Card Buffet this past Thursday.
I wanted to make a gusseted bag so I trimmed off a hair along the bottom of the bag. I then scored at 1" on each side, and folded the middle score line towards the inside and ran my Bone Folder on the new score lines, forming this cute little gusseted bag. I then rolled up the bottom and secured it with Liquid Tombow in between the layers. I ran a piece of Copper Washi Tape from the Tags & More Accessory Kit to finish the edge.
I used one of the tags from the Tags & More Accessory Kit and ran a piece of Copper Mini Trim through the hole. I then attached one of the labels on top with Dimensionals. I cut out a circle from the Bird Ballad DSP using the 2" Circle Punch and adhered it to the label. I then cut out one of the birds from a coordinating piece of DSP with Paper Snips and adhered it with Mini Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment with Memento black ink onto So Saffron Cardstock and tucked it under the circle. I finished the tag off with a few Woven Threads Sequins and a Bird Ballad Trinket. I added some chocolate to the bag and closed it with one of the Copper Library Clips from the Tags & More Accessory Kit.
I'll be shooting a video demonstrating how to make this sweet bag and sharing it on my Facebook SU!P FRIENDS! group later today. Make sure to check it out by visiting later or by clicking on the link to the right. Also, mark you calendars...Bingo Blast! is coming again on Saturday, September 7th with the launch of the new Holiday Catalog!!! More details to come! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
