Hello there! Today I have a fun little treat holder to share with you! I made these for the attendees at Coffee Break on Saturday, after watching a video from Melody Hyde, a SU! concept artist. Make sure to head over to my Facebook group SU!P FRIENDS! later as I'll have a video demonstrating how to make this cute little box!
I stamped 2 cuckoo clock images onto Crumb Cake Cardstock using Early Espresso ink and one image onto Daffodil Delight Cardstock. I used both sets of Watercolor Pencils in Pacific Point, Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso. I used the coordinating Cuckoo Clock Dies to cut out the Crumb Cake houses. Remember you save 10% when you buy the bundle! I then cut out the Daffodil Delight house with Paper Snips.
I then cut a strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock and scored it to form the box. Make sure to click on the Facebook link to the right to get the measurements later on today. I assembled the box and attached the houses with Liquid Tombow. Before I assembled the box, I adhered the Daffodil Delight house to the front and used the Take Your Pick Tool to make a hole with the paper-piercer. I then attached the clock hands that I cut from Early Espresso Cardstock with a Metallic Brad.
I then stamped the little bird with Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and colored him with Pacific Point and Pumpkin Pie Watercolor Pencils. I cut him out with the dies and adhered him with a Mini Dimensional. I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White Cardstock with Early Espresso ink and used a Bone Folder to bend it. I adhered it to the cuckoo clock with Liquid Tombow.
Such a fun day and everyone there got a sneak peek at the upcoming Holiday Catalog, my swaps from the cruise and got to check out all the goodies I brought home from the trip. Remember to head over to Facebook later today to see a video of how to make this adorable cuckoo clock treat holder. Thanks so much for stopping by!
