FREE AS A BIRD NOTE CARD:

Hello there! Today I have a super sweet & super simple card to share using the Free As A Bird Suite and the Scalloped Note Cards and Envelopes. I started with one of the light pink note cards and added a layer of Bird Ballad DSP. I then trimmed the bottom off of a piece of Sahara Sand Woven Threads Trim-love this stuff!, and adhered it to the DSP with Glue Dots.

Next, I trimmed the bottom off of a Pearlized Doily and attached it to the DSP. I punched out the label from Sahara Sand Cardstock using the Everyday Label Punch and stamped the flowers with Sahara Sand ink. I colored them in lightly with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Watercolor Pencils.

I stamped the bird onto Sahara Sand Cardstock with Smoky Slate ink and colored it with Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie and Bermuda Bay Watercolor Pencils. I then cut it out with Paper Snips. I adhered the bird and the label with Dimensionals. I stamped the semtiment with Memento black ink onto Pool PArty Cardstock and adhered it to the label with SNAIL. I trimmed off the excess cardstock and added a Bird Ballad Trinket with a Glue Dot.

Make sure to stop back tomorrow for another gorgeous project made with this gorgeous suite! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

  1. Cute card with lots of details!!! That's my favorite part! I wasn't sure about the woven threads trim...but I like how you used it! It is amazing how one little change make a ribbon look different.
