SPIRITED SNOWMEN CARD:

Hello there! Today I have a fun snowman card featuring the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set. I love these adorable snowmen and how well they work with the Buffalo Check Background Stamp and the Snowflake Showcase Suite! I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a layer of Night of Navy Cardstock. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the check with Whisper White Craft ink.

My Product of the Week is the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set, so look for more projects featuring this stamp set his week. My Deal of the Week is the Basic Rhinestone Jewels. Place a $30 order by Sunday at midnight & get a package for FREE! Use HOST CODE XB4FKBJ3 when you place your online order at: www.lauramellinger.stampinup.net.

I then cut the last scrap of a White Velvet Sheet that I had left with the gorgeous flourish die from the Snowfall Thinlits, and a variety of snowflakes. I used a Sponge Dauber in Night of Navy ink to add the shading at the top. I then stamped the small snowflake cluster from Snow Is Glistening over the top. I love the soft, warm & fuzzy look I got from this effect. I have gone through a whole package of the White Velvet Sheets-they are awesome! They are only available until the end of November and have already sold out in the Australia market, so if you're wanting them you better order now!

Next, I stamped the snowman onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with Night of Navy ink. I wanted to stamp him on the velvet but I only had small scraps left. I cut him out using the Layering Circles Framelits & colored him with Pumpkin Pie & Real Red Combo Blends. I colored his arms & legs with a Dark Crumb Cake Blends. I added his rosy cheeks with a q-tip & Blushing Bride ink.

I attached the flourish with Dimensionals & Mini Dimensionals, and the snowflakes with rolled Glue Dots. I added the circle on top with Dimensionals as well. I then trimmed off the excess with my Stampin' Trimmer. I stamped the sentiment onto Real Red Cardstock using Night of Navy ink and cut it out with my Paper Snips. I adhered them with Liquid Tombow & finished it off with a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels on his hat. Click on either FB link on the sidebar to watch a video of how to make this card!

Make sure to check out the products in this amazing suite. They are exclusive and only available until the end of November, or while supplies last. Don't miss out on these gorgeous products!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
