SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT SEPTEMBER PAPER PUMPKIN:

Hello there! I wanted to share last month's paper pumpkin with you called Something Good To Eat. This is probably my all-time favorite Paper Pumpkin:) It came with all the supplies to make 18 of these adorable test tube treat holders.

I had some Halloween DSP to use up, so I added an extra pennant, and I also backed the striped stickers as well. The kit came with on Old Olive spot, but I used Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie & basic Black inks as well.

I ordered a couple of extra refill kits and made enough for Gabe & Q to take to their Halloween parties on Monday. The test tubes will hold 3 midgee Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, Sixlits or stacked individual M&Ms. It looks like we're going to have a perfect night for trick-or-treating this year...for a change:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

WILD ABOUT FLOWERS CARD:

Hello there! I wanted to share this retirement card that I made for a dear friend from our church. I used the set Wild About Flowers. I started with a Crumb Cake base and used the set Gorgeous Grunge for the background, using Crumb Cake ink as well.

Next I cut out a square from Delightful Dijon Cardstock and stamped the flowers with the same ink. I used the retired paper-piercing pack, Mat & Tool to add the texture. I stamped the sentiment with Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and used a retired die to cut out the tag. I used the Paper-piercing Tool to poke a hole and thread it with Linen Thread.

I stapled a piece of Mint Macaron ribbon from the Ribbon Trio Pack to the cardstock and tucked a piece of Warmth & Cheer Washi Tape underneath. I added a retired metal button and adhered with a Glue Dot.

I attached the Delightful Dijon square to the base using Dimensionals. This was a super quick card to put together, and perfect for a great guy who is moving on to something different. Well off to the Fun Fest with my little vampire & witch:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

NUMBER OF YEARS CARD:

Hello there! So sorry I forgot to post this last auction card. We've been crazy busy with Operation Christmas Child, and I forgot to share it. I used the set Number of Years. I've had it for awhile and was glad to finally get it inked up:) I started with a Crumb Cake base and ran it through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

I bought several packs of the Project Life Grid Cards before they retired and I used one here. I rounded the corners with the PL Corner Rounder Punch. I used Old Olive ink for the stems, and Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler & Crushed Curry inks for the flowers. I added a piece of Floral Boutique DSP to the bottom. I then wrapped a piece of Crushed Curry Baker's Twine around the card and tied a bow.

I masked off the top part of the sentiment with Post-it Notes and stamped the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink. I removed the Post-it Notes and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I attached the card to the base with Dimensionals and added a few Basic Pearls to finish it off.

I paired the card up with a scrumptious Blueberry Muffin candle for the perfect combo:) I got the idea for this card from our Stampin' Success demonstrator magazine, and it was a snap to put together. So far we've got a couple hundred dollars from the silent auction to go towards OCC-so exciting! And speaking of exciting...my Card Buffet that I will be holding on December 1st has gotten a good response, so I'm going to get started on designing cards for this fun event. I have a few more projects to share with you, and then I'll be getting busy:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

SPRINKLES OF LIFE CARD:

Hello there! Here's another set that will be going to the auction block for OCC. I used the stamp set Sprinkles of Life and coordinating Tree Builder Punch. I found this card in our demonstrator magazine Stampin' Success and CASED it. I started with a Crumb Cake base and ran it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

I added a layer of Soft Sky Cardstock on top and stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink. I stamped the tree trunk with Early Espresso onto Crumb Cake Cardstock, and the leaves with Old Olive ink onto Old Olive Cardstock. I cut a sliver of Old Olive Cardstock and stamped the background with Old Olive ink as well. I stamped the apples with Cherry Cobbler ink onto the same cardstock, and stamped the bird with Delightful Dijon ink onto the same cardstock as well. It was a snap to punch everything out with the Tree Builder Punch:) I added highlights to the apples with the retired white gel pen.

I finished it off with a piece of retired washi tape that I folded over at the top. I added a bow to a retired metal button using Early Espresso Baker's Twine and attached with a Glue Dot.

I paired it with an Apple Jack candle, which would make an awesome gift this time of year:) Check back tomorrow for one more auction item. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

FOXY FRIENDS CARD:

Hello there! Been working on a few more cards for the OCC silent auction and wanted to share this one made with the Foxy Friends/Fox Builder Punch Bundle. I started with a Cajun Craze base and cut the circle out using the Big Shot and Layering Circles Framelits. I stamped the border in Cajun Craze ink as well. I used a piece of  Petals & Paisleys DSP for the background by attaching Dimensionals to the 4 corners and attaching it to the back side of the card front.

I stamped the trees using Mint Macaron ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and used the Perfect Pines Framelits to cut them out. I stamped the stump with Early Espresso ink onto Soft Suede Cardstock, cut it out with my Paper Snips, and adhered with Dimensionals.

For the squirrel I used the Fox Builder Punch with Crumb Cake Cardstock, and stamped his face with Early Espresso. I trimmed the ears down and some of the whiskers as well. I stamped the image with the paws in Crumb Cake ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and cut out the belly. I then glued that onto the body using Liquid Tombow. For his tail I used one of the dies from the Flower Fair Framelits using Crumb Cake Cardstock as well. I attached his head to the body with Dimensionals and then attached the squirrel to the stump with Dimensionals as well. For the acorn, I used the Tree Builder Punch. I punched the leaf image from Early Espresso Cardstock and the apple from Soft Suede Cardstock. I trimmed the top down a bit and drew the hashmarks with an Early Espresso Marker. I attached it with a rolled up Glue Dot.

For the sentiment I used the Acorny Thank You set and Soft Suede ink. I used the Acorn Builder Punch to pop it out and tied a Mini Pinecone onto a piece of Early Espresso Baker's Twine. I paired this fun Fall card with an Oatmeal Raisin Candle. I have a couple more cards to share so make sure to stop back again tomorrow. Thanks so much for coming by:)

HOME SWEET HOME HALLOWEEN:

Hello there! I have been having so much fun with these tiny treat houses and couldn't wait to share them with you:) I used the Sweet Home/Home Sweet Home Bundle for these and saved 10% by purchasing them together.

I made this sweet little house for Elise. I used retired Regals DSP for the house and Tear & Tape for the adhesive. I used Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for the roof. I simply traced around the roof part of the die and made a template. I attached it with Liquid Tombow. I made the shingles with Whisper White Cardstock and attached them with Liquid Tombow as well.

I stamped the candy and gumdrops with Pumpkin Pie and the black licorice stripes with Basic Black Archival ink. The sentiment is the same colors and attached with Glue Dots. I added a bow made with the Halloween Night Baker's Twine. I added a Halloween Night Enamel Dot for the door knob.

A couple tips...you'll use the smaller die to cut out the windows, and the larger window die is for the trim. I cut off one of the tabs for the roof to make it a little easier to assemble.

This is the perfect addition to the ensemble I made earlier:)

This is the house I made for Quinten. I used the Halloween Nights DSP, and Perfect Plum trim. I used Basic Black Cardstock for the roof and started adding rows from the bottom with Liquid Tombow. You'll want to stagger the shingles so they don't line up. Once the roof was covered, I trimmed the overhanging shingles, overlapping the house about a 1/4 of an inch.

For the banner I used Perfect Plum, Old Olive, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie & Basic Grey Markers. I added a piece of Halloween Night Baker's Twine on top with Liquid Tombow.

For the ghost, I stamped him in Basic Black Archival ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut out with one of the dies. I folded the end, added a rolled up Glue Dot and stuck him through the window, by wedging him in and securing the end to the inside of the house. I finished it off with a Halloween Night Enamel Dot door knob.

Quinten has gone back and forth between the Joker, Spiderman and has finally landed on a vampire for Halloween, which works out perfectly...until he changes his mind again:)

And here's the house I made for Gabe. Again I used the Halloween Night DSP and added a Basic Grey roof. The trim, bats and sentiment are made with Basic Black Cardstock and Whisper White Craft ink.

I stamped the spider web with Basic Black Archival ink onto Whisper White Cardstock, cut it out with my Paper Snips and adhered with Liquid Tombow. I added a piece of Basic Grey Cardstock to the inside of the window with rolled Glue Dots.

I finished it off with a Halloween Night Enamel Dot for the door knob.

These houses really are tiny, probably about 3 inches tall. They hold about 11 individual pieces of Starbust-sized candy. Now I'm off to make more of everything for the OCC auction. I'm so glad I have pictures of everything, as what took me hours to create will be ripped open in a matter of seconds-at least you appreciate them I'm sure:)

I wanted to give you an update about the Card Buffet I mentioned earlier. There was a conflict with church, so the first one will be held on Thursday, December 1st from 4-8pm. You can come for the whole time or just pop in to make a few cards. I will have 8-12 different card designs and you can pick which ones you want to make, and how many you make. I will have a mixture of Christmas and all-occasion designs, and several quick & easy options.

I'll have each card and all the components to make that card in a tote on the Buffet Table. You pick the first card you want to make and take that tote to the table to make your card(s). When you're finished, put everything back in the tote and return it to the Buffet Table. Pick the next card you want to make and repeat the process.

The cost is $3 per card, which includes SU! envelopes. Keep track of how many you make and pay me before you leave. You'll need to supply your own adhesive, but I'll also have SNAIL & Liquid Tombow to purchase if needed. I'll provide, grid sheets, Stampin' Mist & Scrubbers, scissors and any additional adhesives needed.

If you want to place an order that night, you'll get to make 1 card  for free for every $25 increment:
*Place a $25 order and get 1 free card
*Place a $50 order and get 2 free cards
*Place a $75 order and get 3 free cards, etc.
*If you're a member of my downline, you can make 1 card for free.

I'll probably have coffee, but feel free to bring whatever you want to drink & snack on...well we can't bring WHATEVER we want to drink unfortunately:(

If you're interested in attending or have any questions, please email me. I hope to see you at this fun event! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

BASKET OF WISHES CARD:

Hello there! I have another fall card to share with you today using the set Basket of Wishes. I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a piece of the lovely Petals & Paisleys DSP on top. I layered a piece of Burlap Ribbon with a piece of Rich Razzleberry ribbon from the Ribbon Trio Pack, and adhered with SNAIL.

Next, I cut a pair of ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits and ran the top one through the Big Shot a second time using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I attached them over the ribbon using Dimensionals. I stamped the basket with Soft Suede ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock. I colored the image with Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron & Whisper White Stamp Pads and Blender Pens. I cut the basket out with my Paper Snips and adhered to the oval with Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry ink, wiped the ink off of the dots, and colored them with a Soft Suede Marker onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. I thread a retired button with Linen Thread, tied a bow and tucked it underneath the sentiment using a Glue Dot.

I put a Creamy Vanilla candle with this card and hopefully the pair will bring in some money from the silent auction to help with our Operation Christmas Child mission. I hope to see you back here tomorrow! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

VINTAGE LEAVES CARD:

Hello there! Today I have a lovely fall card to share with you using the set Vintage Leaves. I started with an Always Artichoke base and used the Hardwood background stamp in the same color. I stamped the leaves with Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler & Delightful Dijon ink onto the same cardstock colors, and used the coordinating Leaflets Framelits to cut them out.

The sentiment is from One Big Meaning and I stamped it on Watercolor Paper. I used Delightful Dijon, Always Artichoke & Cherry Cobbler Markers to color it.

I added a swirl of Gold Metallic Thread to the back of the sentiment with Liquid Tombow and attached with Dimensionals. I finished it off with a few sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment using the Fine-Tip Glue pen.

I got the idea for this card from our demonstator Stampin' Success magazine, which is a big help when I need some quick & easy designs, and this card was definitely that! I paired it with one of my hubby's yummy candles-Gingersnap, and will go on the auction block to raise some money for Operation Christmas Child. Stay tuned, I've got more projects to come. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

COOKIE CUTTER HALLOWEEN CARD:

Hello there! Back as promised with this cute little scarecrow:) I used the set Cookie Cutter Halloween and the coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. I'm having so much fun with this set! I started with a Crumb cake base and added a layer of Petals & Paisleys DSP. I added another design onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. I used the set Sprinkles of Life to add the tiny leaves in the background by stamping off with Mint Macaron ink.

I stamped the scarecrow in Early Espresso ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and used the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to pop him out. I cut the fence out of Soft Suede ink using the Halloween Scenes Edgelits. I colored the scarecrow using Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze & Soft Suede Markers. I added a little color to his cheeks with a Blushing Bride pad and Q-tip.

I added a Linen Thread bow and propped him on the fence using Dimensionals. I stamped the crow with Early Espresso ink, cut him out with my Paper Snips and attached with a Dimensional piece. The sentiment is from Here For You and I thought it was a perfect fit:) I stamped it in Early Espresso ink onto Delightful Dijon Cardstock.

Aside from the coloring, this card came together really quickly. I paired it with a Cappuccino Brulee candle, as I figured he needed a cup to keep warm:)

For those of you who are local, I wanted to let you know about an event I'm planning on Thursday, November 17. If I get enough interest I'm going to hold a Card Buffet from 4-8pm at First Christian Church in Burlington, Iowa. You can come anytime during that time period-for an hour or 4 hours. I'll have 8-12 cards designed and you can pick which you want to make and how many. The cost will be $3 per card, which includes envelopes. Please email me if you're interested or if you have any questions. I'll post more about this a little later if I get a good response. Make sure to stop back tomorrow for another fun Fall card. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

SPOOKY FUN!:

Hello there! Fall is in the air and I love it! Another thing I love about this time of year is it's OCC season (Operation Christmas Child). We're getting ready for several packing parties and we'll be letting thousands of kids around the world know that they are loved:) I'm working on some projects for an online silent auction and wanted to share the projects as I get them done. This card is pretty much a CASE from the catalog, but I changed a few things up.

I used the Spooky Fun/Halloween Scenes Bundle to make this fun card. And saved 10% by buying them together:) I started with a Pumpkin Pie base and added a layer of Halloween Night DSP on top. I added another design from the same pack on top and flagged the bottom. I cut a circle out with the largest die from the Layering Circles Framelits. I used Perfect Plum Cardstock and added the detail by coloring the dots only with a Basic Black Marker. I cut the fence out of Basic Grey Cardstock and tree from Basic Black. I adhered them to the circle using Liquid Tombow and trimmed off the excess with my Paper Snips. I stamped the sentiment with Basic Black Archival ink onto Old Olive Cardstock and attached with Glue Dots.

I stamped the pumpkin trio with Basic Black Archival ink onto Pumpkin Pie and adhered them with Dimensionals. I added the bat using Basic Black as well and decided to add a few of the fun Halloween Night Enamel Dots...that I forgot I had.

I also love the smell of my hubby's yummy candles burning in the colder months. This card is paired with Pumpkin Spice and will be going to a happy home soon:) I've got a fun little scarecrow to share with you tomorrow, so stop back. Thanks so much for coming by!

COOKIE CUTTER HALLOWEEN FUN!:

Hello there! I've been having a lot of fun with the Cookie Cutter Halloween set and wanted to share some projects with you just in time for Halloween. Sorry I'm so late with sharing these-I've been in a funk and didn't feel like doing much of anything:( I should have known getting back to my stamping room would have helped:) Better late than never! For this mummy card I started with a Perfect Plum base and stamped the background image with Perfect Plum ink as well.

I stamped the mummy with Basic Grey ink and used the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to pop it out. I saved 10% by getting the punch with the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle, and now I have 2 stamp sets to use with this punch-score! The sentiment is from Suite Seasons and I used Perfect Plum, Basic Grey, Pumpkin Pie & Basic Black Markers to color the stamp. I laid the mummy on the cardstock and was able to get perfect placement for the sentiment. I then attached the mummy with Dimensionals. I needed to girl this up a bit as it will be for my granddaughter Elise. I added eyelashes with a Basic Grey Marker and gave her rosy cheeks using a Q-tip and the Pink Pirouette stamp pad. I layered Halloween Night DSP under all the cookie cutter pieces and tied Halloween Night Baker's Twine around the cardstock. I added some coordinating Halloween Night Washi Tape as well. I tucked a little flag underneath the sentiment using Basic Black Cardstock.

I found the idea for this adorable treat holder on Christy Fulk's blog. You can go to:   http://createwithchristy.blogspot.com/2016/08/12-weeks-of-fall-halloween-2016-week-1.html for the instructions. I made the base out of Basic Black Cardstock and used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch for the ends. For the belly band I used Perfect Plum Cardstock and stamped the background with the same ink. I added Halloween Night Washi Tape around the top edge. I used the set Spooky Fun for the sentiment using Basic Black Archival ink. One of the awesome things about photopolymer stamps is that they are flexible and you can bend them to work with the Duet Banner Punch as I did here. I stamped the sentiment on Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and attached with Glue Dots.

I tucked some Halloween candy inside and strung a piece of Halloween Night Baker's Twine through to tie it shut.

For this duo I used everything from the Halloween Night Suite as above. I used Basic Grey Cardstock for the card base and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for the flagged piece.

I used Suite Seasons for the background sentiment and the bow tie was stamped with Cookie Cutter Halloween and punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

I used Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey & Perfect Plum Cardstock for the treatholder.

I used Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for the card base and the same ink for the background. The flagged piece is Basic Grey. I stamped 'Eddie' a second time onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, used the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch to punch out the cross, and attached with a Glue Dot.

For the treatholder I used Basic Grey, Pumpkin Pie & Basic Black Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with Whisper White Craft ink.  I'm off to create more fun for an online Silent Auction we're getting ready for to raise money for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Stay tuned! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
