HAPPY SCENES FALL CARD:

Hello there! Back again with another idea for the Happy Scenes/Hearth & Home Bundle. I used the same layout as the sample in the Holiday Catalog, but changed some things up. I started with a Whisper White base and added a layer of Sweet Li'l Things DSP. On top of that I added a layer of Into the Woods DSP.

I cut out the window frame using the Big Shot with Whisper White Cardstock. Underneath is a layer of Whisper White as well stamped in Early Espresso ink. I stamped off the background with Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist & Soft Suede ink. I used a Sponge Dauber with Old Olive ink for the grass.

I used Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Old Olive & Soft Suede Markers to color in the leaves and pumpkins.
I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso onto Hello Honey Cardstock and added an Into the Woods Element with a Linen Thread bow. I snipped off a piece of a Tea Lace Doily and tucked it under the window frame that I attached over the scene with Dimensionals.

Sometimes when I'm sitting staring at a brand new stamp set and wondering what to do with it, it helps to break it in by using a sample as a starting point and putting my own spin on it. Usually then I come up with several other ideas  through the process. Sometimes just getting started is the hardest part. It will be fun to use the winter scene for Christmas cards but I'm not quite ready to go there yet. I want to enjoy this beautiful Fall for as long as I can:) Stop back tomorrow~I just can't quit creating! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
