MORE BANNER BLAST CARDS:

Hello there! Today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration, so I wanted to share a few more cards before these sets are gone for good:( These 3 are made with Banner Blast and the coordinating Banner Punch. I got inspiration from other demonstrators, so I'll list their names and original card below each card.

I got the idea for this card from Christine Miller @ www.mystampinlady.com. I used a Crumb Cake base and added a strip of Birthday Basics DSP along the side. I stamped the sentiment~from Yippee-Skippee, in Gumball Green onto Pink Pirouette Cardstock, and added a piece of Summer Starfruit Satin Ribbon underneath before I attached it to the card. I added a trio of In Color Dahlias with Glue Dots.

I stamped the pennants in Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit and punched them out with the Banner Punch. I trimmed a bit off the tops and added a Vintage Trinket safety pin. I couldn't decide if I liked the Summer Starfruit of Gumball Green ribbon better, so I made one with each~what do you think? I changed up the pennants a bit too. I'm really going to miss this ribbon when it retires with these In Colors. It always makes a perfect bow.

I got the idea for this card from Dawn Olechefske @ DOstamping@yahoo.com. A fun, simple card that came together really quickly:)

I started with a Tangerine Tango base and stamped the sentiment in the same ink. It is from A Dozen Thoughts. After that, I wrapped a piece of Calypso Coral Baker's Twine around it and attached it to the base with Dimensionals. I then stamped the pennants in Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango & Gumball Green. I punched them out with the Banner Punch and adhered them with Dimensionals. I popped a Basic Rhinestone to the center of the flower and called it done.

I couldn't find a name for this card, but her blog is 1StampinNightOwl.com. I changed it up quite a bit, but I loved her idea of the pennants in the pocket. I started with a Midnight Muse Core-dinations base and used the Sanding System to roughen it up and make it look like denim. For the pocket, I used the Angled Tag Topper Punch. I used a White Gel Pen and a ruler to add the stitching. I added a couple of Vintage Trinket brads to the corners, and attached the pocket with Dimensionals along the edge.

I punched the pennants out of Polka Dot Parade DSP, wrapped them around toothpicks and used Liquid Tombow to attach them. The sentiment is stamped in Midnight Muse onto Whisper White Cardstock and is from Yippie-Skippee (obviously:) I added a Daffodil Delight flower made with the Boho Blossoms Punch and added a Neutrals Button to the center with Island Indigo Baker's Twine.

You may have noticed that I used the In Colors that will be retiring on these cards. Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple & Midnight Muse will only be around until the end of May:( You can still get the set of Markers for FREE through today only by subscribing to My Paper Pumpkin. GLITTERED GREETINGS CARD:

Hello there! I wanted to share this month's My Paper Pumpkin projects with you. I'm loving the new & improved kits! I kept the design pretty much the same as the sample for this card, except I trimmed 3/4" off the bottom of the gold envelope liner and added it to the inside of the card. I trimmed off 1/4" from the edge of the card front so the extra bling would show.

The best part of this kit is the fun woodcuts:) I wanted to share another idea that Mary Fish came up with: http://www.stampinpretty.com/2014/03/the-really-cool-part-about-the-march-paper-pumpkin-kit-is-that-you-can-put-wow-cards-together-in-minutes-or-make-a-few-cha.html. I wish I had seen this before I put mine together. It's fun to see the different spin other's put on the kits every month.

Here's the other design that came with the March kit~perfect for upcoming graduations.

I changed it up a bit by adding some Epic Day Washi Tape.

For this card, I ran the Calypso Coral Stampin' Spot that was provided with the kit, over the woodcuts for a bolder look. Another perk of My Paper Pumpkin is the Stampin' Spots you get each month~I've got quite a collection going:)

And here's one more idea.

This kit was alot of fun. I'm already looking forward to next month's kit! You can still get in on the set of FREE In Color Markers if you subscribe to My Paper Pumpkin by March 31. Check it out at www.mypaperpumpkin.com and get in on the fun! Thanks so much for stopping by!

YOU'RE LOVELY CARDS:

Hello there! I have a couple more Sale-A-Bration cards to share with you using the set You're Lovely. I liked this set even less than yesterdays, but I was really happy with what I came up with. I thought, Wow, where did that come from? I started with a Blushing Bride base and added a pennant of SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP. I stamped the border along the side in Sahara Sand.

I adhered a piece of a Tea Lace Doily to a piece of Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Trim and adhered it to the card. I stamped the image in Sahara Sand and used an Aqua Painter to color it in using Blushing Bride and Pistachio Pudding ink. I cut it out by hand, but the Deco Labels Collection Framelits would easily do the work for you. I added a row of Basic Pearls underneath and attached the label with Dimensionals.

I added a strip of Blushing Bride Chevron Ribbon and finished it off with a bow. I thought this would make a perfect card for any weddings you may have coming up.

And here's another idea for you. I started with a Crumb cake base and ran it through the Big Shot using the Adorning Accents Edgelits and coordinating Embossing Folder. I stamped the border image in Crumb Cake. I used Afternoon Picnic DSP and ran a piece of Summer Starfruit chunky twine around it before I adhered it to the card with Dimensionals.

I stamped the label image first in Wisteria Wonder and cut it out. I stamped it again in Pear Pizzazz and used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to punch it out and adhered it on top of the label. I colored the leaves with a Pear Pizzazz Marker and I punched out a trio of Crushed Curry flowers using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.

I added Basic Pearls to the centers of the flowers and added a couple of Regals Candy Dots. I attached the label to the DSP using Dimensionals. The Summer Starfruit twine clashed a little with the Crushed Curry flowers so I took a Crushed Curry Marker and added a little color to the twine to bring it all together. I think I may have pushed myself to the limit with these 2 stamp sets, but you never know...Check back in case I get more inspiration:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

PETAL PARADE CARDS:

Hello there! Today I have a couple more samples for you featuring Sale-A-Bration sets. These cards are made with Petal Parade. I have to admit I thought this set was really ugly when I first saw it, but it has managed to grow on me. I got inspiration for this card on the SU! site, and it just has a tropical feel to me~which is all good! I started with a Coastal Cabana base and heat embossed the white flowers on Watercolor Paper.

I then took the Summer Starfruit pad and tapped ink onto the top of the Watercolor Paper. I used an Aqua Painter to blend it and gradually get lighter towards the center of the paper. I then did the same process to the bottom of the paper with Pool Party, and got a nice subtle green in the middle. I put the paper under a wood stamp set to help it flatten out. Once it was dry I stamped the arrow image in Summer Starfruit and the flower in Pool Party.

I added a Summer Starfruit scallop border to the side using the Large Scallop Edgelit and ran it through the Big Shot. I added a couple of different patterns from the SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP and added a Whisper White pennant on top. The sentiment is from Fabulous Phrases and stamped in Pool Party. I added a pair of the cork flowers and scallops from the SAB Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack, along with a Summer Starfruit twine bow, which is also included in the Accessory Pack.

Here's another card made with Petal Parade. Again, not my typical style, but it was fun to stretch myself a bit. There's very little stamping on this card; most of the images were cut out from the SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP. I started with a Whisper White base and stamped the leaf image to the right in Pistachio Pudding.

Next, I cut a strip of DSP and adhered it to the bottom. I colored the sentiment with markers, starting with Summer Starfruit at the top going into Crisp Cantaloupe, then Pistachio Pudding and finally Pool Party at the bottom. I used a Basic Black Marker for the arrow image. Then I just cut out differnt images that I liked and adhered them with SNAIL.

I popped the Summer Starfruit up with Dimensionals and used the small circle from the Owl Builder Punch for the Basic Black circle in the center. I added a SAB Crisp Cantaloupe twine bow to the center with  Liquid Tombow and scattered a few Basic Pearls around that I colored with a black Sharpie beforehand.

There's only 2 weeks of Sale-A-Bration left, so I wanted to give you some more ideas for these awesome products that will only be around for a little while longer. Check back tomorrow for some more:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

SOUR CREAM CARROT:

Hello there! Today I have one more Easter project for you. I made this for my Hostess this month. I saw the idea for this cute sour cream container carrot on Pinterest. I starteded with a piece of Polka Dot Parade DSP that was 5" x 6". I ran a piece of Sticky Strip along one side and adhered it together making a long cylinder. I added a shorter piece to the bottom and closed it.

I then sealed up the top folding it the opposite way from the bottom. Make sure you add your treat before you seal your carrot:) I ran another piece of Sticky Strip to the back~because I forgot to do it before I sealed it, and added some strips of Wild Wasabi DSP from the Subtles DSP Stack. I then wrapped some Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon around it and tied a bow. I stamped the sweet little bunny from Life In The Forest onto Whisper White Cardstock using Crumb Cake ink and an Aqua Painter to color him in. The sentiment is from Gifts Of Kindness, stamped in Crumb Cake onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. I attached the tag with Linen Thread.

I should have got a better angle so you could tell it's a sour cream container, but I'm too sore & lazy to go take another picture, lol. If you do a search on Pinterest for carrot container or treat holder, I'm sure you'll come across it. I may be MIA for a few days as I think I'm ready to tackle cleaning my stamp room~the horror! Thanks so much for stopping by today and let's hope the sun melts all this crap away:)

PETITE PURSE EASTER BASKET:

Hello there! I have another Easter project for you today. I made this sweet little basket for everyone who attended Card Night this month. It came together super quick thanks to the Petite Purse Die. I used Baked Brown Sugar Cardstock and after I cut it out, I ran it through the Big Shot again using the Scallops Embossing Folder.

After I assembled the basket, I ran Sticky Strip along the top and added Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffle Trim. Next, I punched out a Crisp Cantaloupe flower using the Boho Blossoms Punch and added an In Color Boutique Details embellishment to the center with Liquid Tombow.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe onto Whisper White Cardstock. I finished it off with a Calypso Coral Baker's Twine bow.

I filled the basket with Easter grass and added some mini Cadbury eggs. You could easily whip up a bunch of these in no time. I have one more Easter treat for you tomorrow, so make sure to check back. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

LIFE IN THE FOREST CARD:

Hello there! As promised, here's an Easter card made with the set Life In The Forest. I love the fun little critters in this set:) I used one of the Easter cards(p.15) from the Occasions Catalog as inspiration for this. I substituted this sweet little bunny for the one in Eggstra Spectacular, as I don't care for that set as well. I didn't act fast enough to get the Scallop Tag Topper Punch before it went on backorder, so I used the Angled Top instead.

I started with a Pistachio Pudding base and added some SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP. I added a strip of Summer Starfruit Satin Ribbon to the back with SNAIL and did the same on the bottom with Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffled Trim.

I inked up the Brayer with Sahara Sand ink and added a little color to one of the Tea Lace Doilies. I used Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Pool Party Markers to color the dots from the toadstool image for the background. I stamped the bunny in Sahara Sand onto Pool Party Cardstock and punched it out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. I added a banner of Crisp Cantaloupe and stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I used the chunky twine from the SAB Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack and attached the tag with Dimensionals. I added a piece of Natural Chevron Ribbon underneath and added an In Color Boutique Details embellishment to finish off the card.

Initially I had planned to have the bunny on top of an egg that I punched out with the Extra-Large Oval Punch, but it looked goofy, so I went with Plan B instead. I think it worked out okay. I have a couple more Easter treat holders to share with you, so make sure to check back here tomorrow. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

SEE YA LATER CARD:

Hello there! So happy to see the sun shining today, so I have a warm sunny card to share with you:) This is another one we made at Card Night and it features the SAB set See Ya Later. I think it's my favorite SAB offering this year. I started with a Very Vanilla base and added a layer of Smoky Slate Core'dinations that I sanded to bring out the yummy texture. Next, I cut out the clouds using the Big Shot and Word Bubble Framelits. I then embossed them with the SAB Embossing Folder~Decorative Dots.

I used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch for the sun in So Saffron Cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment in Smoky Slate and punched it out with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I used the So Saffron Marker to add the dots to the scallops. I stamped the Happy again onto So Saffron and attached it with Dimensionals. I added a Subtles Button with a Glue Dot.

Oops, I need to back up a bit...before I added the sentiment to the sun, I punched out 12 pennants using the SAB Banner Punch from the Subtles DSP Stack. I ran SNAIL around the edge on the back side of the So Saffron circle and attached the pennants. I attached the sun with a couple of Dimensionals. I really like how this card turned out and I'm sure it would brighten someone's day:) Make sure to check back the next few days as I have some Easter projects for you. Thanks so much for stopping by!

GIGGLE GREETINGS CARD:

Hello there! Here's another card we made the other night at Card Night. I used the set Giggle Greetings, which I earnd for my participation on the Paper Crafters Sampler Design Team~gotta love FREE! I started with a Daffodil Delight base and added another layer that I punched with the 1/2" and 3/4" Circle Punches. I adhered this layer with Dimensionals to give it some depth.

I stamped the image in Soft Suede and used Daffodil Delight, Real Red & Marina Mist Markers to color it. I used Polka Dot Parade DSP and flagged the ends. I finished it off with a bit of Daffodil Delight Stitched Ribbon and attached it with a Glue Dot.

I thought the sentiment from Bring On The Cake worked perfectly with this card. Love when that happens:)

This was a really fun card to make and would work for anybody. And the best part is you can put it together in 10 minutes! This set is just too fun~you'll be seeing more with it. Make sure to swing back by tomorrow:) Thanks so much for stopping by!
