GREEK ISLES INCENTIVE TRIP DAY 5:

Hello there! Day 5 was quite an eventful day on our Incentive Trip to the Greek Isles! We were all geared up for a fun day in Athens, but our day got cut short...more on that in a bit:)

Athens is an amazing city, a perfect mix of old & new.

We started off at the Acropolis.

Such gorgeous architecture.

It's amazing how ruins can be so beautiful.

We lucked out with another beautiful day. There was a nice breeze...which we were going to need later:)

The gorgeous sky was a perfect backdrop to these majestic creations.

We didn't do any guided tours-we kinda like to do our own thing:)

So amazing:)

We were excited to hike up the hill after lunch to see more sights.

I couldn't wait to see these structures that I'd learned about in Art History up close & personal.

We decided to get some lunch first.

I could have sat here sipping wine all day:)

It was right about now that Rick discovered that he didn't have his wallet!

We had ordered a beer & wine & pizza. We had enough euros to cover the drinks, but told him to cancel the pizza. We then back-tracked everywhere we'd been that morning.

We walked back to the Acropolis and got back on the bus, but were not able to find it. Someone told us it was more than likely pick-pocketed from his back-pack. I wan't even sure if I had brought my billfold with my debit card & credit cards. I did a whole lot of praying during that walk & bus ride!

Thankfully I had brought my wallet so we were able to cancel all of Rick's cards and noone had tried to use them. We were told they most likely took the cash and threw his wallet away. Thankfully he only had $20 in it! God is so good!!! We were able to relax again and decided to go Spin & Win and lounge by the pool with a couple of pina coladas:) I won this new Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP and a pack of Dimensionals.

And I got this adorable little tote with the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack, which coordinate with the DSP and Christmas Gleaming stamp set I'd won earlier! Also included, was a good-sized jar of olive oil! I'd say that was a perfect ending to a day that could have gone so much worse...we were truly blessed:)

We'll just have to try to get back here another day! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
