Hello there! I have a lovely project to share today featuring the Pressed Petals Journal. It's part of the Pressed Petals Suite and there's so much to love about it! It's very sturdy and the cover has a beautiful embossed design. I used a Sponge Dauber with Early Espresso ink to bring out the texture a bit more.
I added a strip of the coordinating Pressed Petals Specialty DSP and folded a piece of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim in half. I secured it on top of the DSP with Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment from Path of Petals onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and cut it out with the Wild Rose Dies. I stamped off the background with Mossy Meadow ink and attached it with Dimensionals. I also stamped some leaves on the journal in the background.
I cut out the flowers with Paper Snips and tucked them under the label with Glue Dots and Dimensionals. I tied a bow from Linen Thread and attached it with a Glue Dot. I finished it off with a Designer Element and a few sequins from the Woven Threads Assortment.
What's really cool about this journal if that the pages are decorated with 4 different designs and they're perforated. They measure 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", perfect to add to a card front! So many awesome uses for this beautiful journal, I think I'll use mine as a prayer journal.
Thanks so much for coming by today. Make sure to stop back again tomorrow for another lovely project!
