Hello there! I love the small square card featured in the Pressed Petals Suite and wanted to adapt it to a full-sized card. I started with a Soft Sea Foam base and added the newsprint design of DSP from the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP. I then added a strip of the woodgrain design on top.
I stamped the leaf image with Pear Pizzazz ink onto a square of Very Vanilla Cardstock. I stamped the larger flower image with Gorgeous Grape ink and the smaller flowers with Petal Pink ink that I stamped off first. I colored the flowers in with a Highland Heather Marker.
I then added a strip of the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape and wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the cardstock twice and tied a bow. I adhered the cardstock with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment with Whisper White Craft ink onto a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock and heat-embossed it with White Embossing Powder.
I flagged the ends of the sentiment and adhered it with Dimensionals. I tucked a Leaves Trinket underneath the sentiment with a Glue Dot. I like how the woodgrain and newsprint give it a masculine look so I think this would work as a guy card as well:) I still have a couple projects left to share, so make sure to stop back here again tomorrow. Thanks so much for coming by!
