BEST CATCH 3"x 3" CARD:

Hello there! With Father's Day being just around the corner I thought I'd share this fun little card made with Best Catch and the coordinating Catch of the Day Dies. The more I use these 2 products, the more I love them! I started out with a Mossy Meadow card base measuring 6"x 3" and scored it in half. I then added a square of Shimmery White Cardstock measuring 2 1/2".

I used an Aqua Painter with Pool Party ink to ad the wash in the background. I then stamped the dotted image in the background. I crumpled the paper and distressed the edges to give it some texture. I then smoothed it out with a Bone Folder and wrapped a piece of Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack around it and tied it in a knot.

I cut out the cattail image from Shimmery White Cardstock using the Catch of the Day Dies and colored it with Aqua Painters and Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow ink. I tucked it behind the twine with Glue Dots. I then stamped the fish with Soft Suede ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock. I used an Aqua Painter with Mossy Meadow, Grapefruit Grove and Soft Suede ink to color it in. I then covered the fish with VersaMark and heat-embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. It doesn't show up int he pics but it has a perfect shiny texture of a fish!

I adhered the fish with Dimensionals and stamped the sentiment with Soft Suede ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock. I angled the ends and attached it on top. I CASED this little card from out Demonstrator Magazine-Stampin' Success...always so much inspiration!

I'm going to be putting in an order in the morning, so if you're needing the Best Catch stamp set and Catch of the Day Dies let me know and I can get them to you just in the nick of time! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
