BEST CATCH CARD:

Hello there! I can't believe I've waited so long to ink up this amazing stamp set Best Catch! I'm so glad this is carrying over into the new catalog! If you're local you can make this card at Coffee Break on this Saturday, just in time for Father's Day! I started with a Soft Suede base and ran it through the Big Shot using the Subtle Embossing Folder. I then added a layer of Crumb Cake and used the Crackle Paint background stamp on it with Soft Suede ink.

I cut out 2 cattail images from Shimmery White Cardstock using the coordinating Catch Of The Day Thinlits. I colored the cattails with Soft Suede ink and a Blender Pen. I used a Sponge Dauber with Mossy Meadow ink for the leaves. I cut out a circle from Pool Party Cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and added the background design with Pool Party ink, stamping some off. I stamped the sentiment with Soft Suede ink.
I adhered the bottom cattails with SNAIL and adhered the circle on top. I trimmed off the overhang, and attached the other cattails on top with rolled Glue Dots. I stamped the basket with Soft Suede ink onto Crumb Cake Cardstock. I stamped the fish with Soft Suede ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock, and cut them out with the thinlits. I colored the fish with a Blender Pen and Mossy Meadow, Grapefruit Grove & Soft Suede inks. I attached it with Dimensionals.

I didn't realize that the die for the fish cut the fins, so you can bend them slightly, which really makes the fish jump off of the page-so fun! Like I mentioned, the stamp set and thinlits will carry over into the new catalog, but they will no longer be bundled. So if you haven't got this awesome bundle yet, make sure you get it while you can still save 10%!

Stay tuned for more projects with the bundle! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
