This might be my favorite card that I entered so I wanted to save it for last. I used the sets Oh, Hello and Stippled Blossoms. I didn't really like either of these sets when I saw them initially, but they've both grown on me. Probably all the amazing samples I've seen with them.
I used the Tea For Two DSP and several items from the Artisan Embellishment Kit-with a name like that, I had to use it, right? The color scheme was Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso on a Very Vanilla background. I did stamp the flower onto Whisper White Cardstock however, because it was too peachy on Very Vanilla, and I didn't mind the bit of white since there was white in the DSP as well.
I couldn't have made this without my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the chevrons on the oval. It was a little time consuming coloring each block with a different marker, but I love the soft, subtle texture it added. I also used some of my most favorite Flower Trim. I'm really missing it:( I did a little paper-piercing and added a Crochet Trim bow.
I finished it off with the Finishing Touches Adorning Accents and Edgelits and a bunch of Basic Pearls. I'm usually not a flowery cardmaker, but I was happy with how this turned out. I hope you like it too!
I know we're going to like what Kandi has for us today. Let's go check it out! Thanks so much for stopping by today:)
