Hello friends! I have another bittersweet project to share today.
These patchwork pieces were so much fun to put together and I love the stitching detail. I'm so glad to have these sweet memories of my Dad after he had a stroke. He was in a facility and it was so hard to watch him decline for 5 months. But he was so sweet and seemed to be at peace. A family friend made him the little wooden cross that he is holding💗
My Dad died in 2017 and 2 years later my precious husband was diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma brain cancer. We were so blassed to have him at home his last 3 days, I think he was just hanging on for that💗We didn't know it at the time, but we got a picture of his last day. God worked it out that he got to see every one of us except for Sequoia. I think it may have been more than her sweet little heart could take.
Our family was so very blessed to have these two in our lives. I'm so thankful that I have the assurance that I will see them again💗💗💗Thank you so much for stopping by.
