Hello friends! Today I'm sharing the 3rd spread I made in the Virtual Album Retreat that I joined a couple weeks ago. I loved this day in Katakolon, Greece so much. It's fitting that this page has the little tag, because there is a story.
This was Day 6 of the Greek Isles Incentive Trip that we earned-a 7-night cruise to the Greek Isles. And I say 'we' because Rick was a big part of helping me earn it. He was our caller at Bingo events, our pizza delivery guy at Team Meetings, delivered orders for me, helped with prep work for events. I loved the creating and he loved the peopling, so we made a great team!
The ship dropped us off at a small rocky beach, which was already full when we got there and I wasn't sure my feet could handle the rocks, so we took off on our own adventure! We met a cab driver named Antonis and he drove us to another beach about a half an hour away. Kind of crazy, but he was a great guy and did not disappoint!
This beach had a little tiki bar and thankfully we could communicate beer and mojito because neither of us spoke the other's language. After a couple hours of sun we walked around and saw some beautiful sights and then called Antonis to take us to a nice place to eat. We had a moment of panic when we called and thought, what if he didn't answer, but he took care of us! His friend owned an amazing restaurant right on the water and it was the best day ever! Rick got Antonis's contact info and told him we wanted him to help us if we brought our kids back over. Sadly, that won't happen now, but it would be so cool if I could bring them someday!
