SU!P FRIENDS! It's been awhile since my last post...still trying to navigate my new normal. I am missing my husband so much--especially in December. I celebrated my first birthday without him. Phoenix and Quinten have birthdays in December. Rick's birthday will be on New Year's Eve. I can't imagine the loss we'll all feel on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day too. This was always our favorite time of the year.
But I am so thankful for my precious family and friends to help me through it. I'm singing along to my Carpenter's Christmas as usual. Decorating, shopping and wrapping as I always do too. Soon I'll start baking and getting the house ready for Christmas with my precious kids and grandbabies. I'm so thankful for the hustle and bustle of this time of year to keep my mind occupied on happy things.
