SU!P FRIENDS! I made this card for my son-in-law Brandon, for his 40th birthday last week-end. He loves everything outdoors so the Hats Off Bundle was a perfect fit for him!
I came across this awesome card on the Demonstrator Planning Place Facebook group by SU! concept artist Melody Hyde. She does incredible work and I knew this would be perfect for Brandon! I thought this would be a great option for my Coffee Break & Card Buffet as well, so I simplified it a bit. Love this so much!
All the texture from the woodgrain DSP, the realistic stitching and the linen strip on the hat make for a perfect guy card! I simply stamped the last section of the hat onto a strip of Linen Specialty Paper with Early Espresso ink. I cut it out with Paper Snips, peeled off the backing, and pieced it onto the Mossy Meadow hat die-cut--so realistic looking!
