SU!P FRIENDS! While I'm waiting for my new Annual Catalog and preorder to get here, I've been making more of these Double Wonder cards. They are so addictive and so much fun! Today I'm sharing 11 cards I made with the Come Sail Away Suite.
I used minimal supplies to create these 11 cards: Paper Trimmer, Come Sail Away DSP, various cardstock, Sailing Home stamp set, Night of Navy stamp pad, Everday Label Punch, Sahara Sand/Night of Navy Twine, Sail Away Trinkets and adhesives.
I started with 11 card bases, 3 in Night of Navy, 3 in Soft Suede, 3 in Sahara Sand and 2 in Crumb Cake. I also cut 4 pieces of Very Vanilla Cardstock measuring 5"x 3 1/4" to layer the DSP onto.
I then wrapped a piece of Sahara Sand/Night of Navy Twine around the cardstock and attached a Sail Away Trinket before I tied a knot. I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and punched it out with the Everday Label Punch. I adhered it with Dimensionals.
For these 4 cards, I stamped the background & sentiment with Night of Navy ink and adhered the flap and DSP with SNAIL. I tied a bow with the twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot. I attached the sentiment on top with double-stacked Dimensionals.
I finished it off by tucking a Sail Away Trinket under the sentiment.
I stamped the compass off twice before stamping it onto the label here.
I added the bow and trinket with Glue Dots.
I used the last 4 scraps to make this card, using every bit of 2-6"x 12" pieces of DSP. You can see the measurements for cutting the DSP in the April 28th post featuring the Bird Ballad Suite.
