RISE & SHINE PROJECTS:

SU!P FRIENDS! 7 days left to Sale-A-Brate! I love the 2nd Release SAB set Rise & Shine and have a few projects to share with you today. First is this sweet little gift card holder. I started with a piece of Early Espresso measuring 6" x 2 1/4", and scored it in half at 3".

I stamped the background image with Early Espresso ink and made a belly band for it using Crumb Cake Cardstock. I used the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder on it to resemble a coffee sleeve. I then cut out the mug using the Cup of Christmas Dies. I heard a rumor that they sold out and I don't see them on the Online Store, but maybe they'll offer them again on the Holiday Catalog.

If not, we can always do it old school and cut it out by hand. I stamped the sun ray image with Mango Melody ink and stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and used the 1" Circle Punch to punch it out. I adhered it onto the cup with a Dimensional.

I stamped the steam with Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White and cut it out with Paper Snips. I glued it to the back of the cup with Liquid Tombow and attached the cup to the belly band with Dimensionals. I thought it would be a fun touch to add a couple coffee beans with Liquid Tombow as well:)

Brenda Quintana @ QbeesQuest came up with a cute design for this mug. Start with a piece of Cardstock measuring 4 3/4" x 1 3/4"...I used Grapefruit Grove. Score on the short side at 3/8" and 1 3/8". Score the long side at 1 3/8", 1 7/8", 2 7/8" and 3 3/8". Run Tear & Tape along both skinny sections. Cut on the score line up to the horizontal lines, then angle the tabs so they fold up nicer. Cut out 2 cups using the Cup of Christmas Dies from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock and adhere the cups to the scored cardstock.

Before I assembled the cup, I punched a hole out of the front cup and adhered a piece of Best Dressed DSP to the back with Liquid Tombow. I then made a straw using the candy cane dies with Pineapple Punch and Whisper White Cardstock. I adhered it to the inside of the cup with Liquid Tombow as well.

I stamped the flower with Highland Heather ink and the leaves and sentiment with Pear Pizzazz ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I cut the flower and leaves out with Paper Snips and attached them all the the cup with Glue Dots. I added a Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot to the center and tied a bow from the baker's twine in the Tags & More Accessory Kit. So cute!

Here's a card made with an Early Espresso base and Birthday Bonanza DSP. I used the Stitched Nested Dies with Whisper White Cardstock and stamped the steam with Early Espresso ink.

I stamped the mug with Grapefruit Grove ink, the tag with Early Espresso on Whisper White and the sentiment with Early Espresso on Daffodil Delight Cardstock. I used the Cup of Christmas Dies to cut out the cup and bow from Daffodil Delight Cardstock.

And here's bright card that I shared last week. You can see all the details for how to make this fun card on the March 19th post.
