RISE & SHINE CARD:

SU!P FRIENDS! I adore the Rise & Shine stamp set that is part of the 2nd Release Sale-A-Bration offering! I used Mary Haugen's sketch for this card that you can see at Center Stage Stamping...so cute! I especially love anything red, coffee and hearts!

I started with a Poppy Parade base and stamped the background with Poppy Parade ink as well. This stamp set is so fun as it's reversible! So I flipped the coffee cups and turned them upside down for a whimsical background. Next. I adhered a piece of Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon to the back of a strip of Come Sail Away DSP with Liquid Tombow and adhered it to the edge of the card base.

I then stamped the heart with Poppy Parade ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating Cup of Christmas Dies. I stamped the circle image onto Daffodil Delight Cardstock and punched it out with the Starburst Punch. I stamped the sentiment with Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper White and used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out. I then stamped the sentiments on the tag and background with Early Espresso ink.

I adhered the starburst and large sentiment with Dimensionals. I added a Linen Thread bow to the tag and adhered it to the sentiment with Glue Dots. I finished it off with a few Woven Threads Sequins that I adhered with tiny drops of Liquid Tombow.

I just gotta say this card really does rise & shine with it's fun bright colors. And I just finished up my 2 cups of joe and I'm ready to rise & shine now too!
