SU!P FRIENDS! What a world, what a world! The name of the stamp set used to make this card is Power of Hope, and I'm so thankful for the hope I have in our creator to get us through these crazy times. I'm praying that you and your loved ones are doing well:)
The Power of Hope stamp set is part of a bundle that you can earn for FREE with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration. It comes with the Stone 3-D Embossing Folder. To be honest, this bundle did nothing for me when I first saw it and I figured I'd just give it away as a Door Prize. But as always, Pinterest changed my mind, haha!
I started with a Pool Party base and stamped the edge with Crumb Cake ink. I added a layer of Bird Ballad DSP and added a piece of Sahara Sand Woven Threads Trim. I trimmed off the braided part and adhered it with Glue Dots.
To make the paper lantern, I cut a circle from the Parisian Blossoms DSP using the Layering Circles Dies. I cut a second circle from Vellum Cardstock, opened the Corrugated Embossing Folder, laid the vellum on the folder, and used a stylus to score the lines. I then used a Bone Folder to slightly curl it and help flatten it back out, and adhered it to the DSP circle with Glue Dots at the top and bottom.
I then cut 2 strips of Gold Foil and adhered them to the top and bottom. I made a loop from the Petal Pink Metallic-Edge Ribbon and added a bow on top with Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment with Gray Granite ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and adhered it with SNAIL.
As of now I'm still planning on holding my Sale-A-Bration Celebration on April 11th and this is one of the options to make that day. As I mentioned yesterday, Everyone who qualifies for the event will get to vote on the 5 cards we'll make at the event. See yesterday's post to find out how to qualify so you can attend this fun day of stamping and pampering!
