LOVELY LILY PAD CARD:

SU!P FRIENDS! It may not feel like Spring outside but I'm doing my best to bring it to you today with this lovely card made with 4 coordinating Sale-A-Bration products. I started with a Blackberry Bliss base and added a layer of Lily Impressions DSP on top. I then added a layer of the So Very Vellum Specialty DSP.

I stamped the flower with the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set using Whisper White Craft ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and heat-embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I then colored it with a couple drops of Blackberry Bliss on a Clear Block and an Aqua Painter. Once it dried, I cut it out with Paper Snips. There are dies to cut it out but they're not designed to line up exactly and I wanted an even border around the flower.

I stamped the lily pad with Shaded Spruce ink onto Shaded Spruce Cardstock and used the Lily Pad Dies to cut it out. I attached it with SNAIL and added the flower on top with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment with Blackberry Bliss ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and flagged the end. I cut the border with the Lily Pad Dies, adhered it to the back of the sentiment, and tucked it under the flower with SNAIL.

I added a bow made from the baker's twine in the Tags & More Accessory Kit and adhered it to the flower with a Glue Dot. I then added a couple Frosted Flower Embellishments to finish it off. I love how the softness of the vellum tones down the bold DSP a bit. We still have 11 days of Sale-A-Bration left, but I don't know how long these papers will hold out.
