WELCOME EASTER BASKET:

SU!P FRIENDS! I really wish I could get back to posting consistently, but life just continues to be in a usual state of chaos. I just got over some respitory crap and a migraine that took me out for a couple of days. I'm finally feeling much better and maybe it was God's way of getting me to take it easy for a few days:) I made this sweet little Easter basket for a Workshop a couple weeks ago and wanted to share it with you!

I found the measurements for the basket from Brenda Quintana @ QbeesQuest. You can see her cute basket here: https://www.qbeesquest.com/2020/02/easter-baskets-that-hold-a-fill-able-easter-egg.html.

I started with a piece of gingham DSP from the Subtles Collection measuring 6" x 2 3/4". I scored on the short side at 1 3/8". I scored the long side at 1 3/8", 2 3/4" and 4 1/8" ONLY UP TO THE HORIZONTAL SCORE LINE. Then score the whole paper at 5 1/2". Cut on the bottom score lines ONLY UP UNTIL THE HORIZONTAL LINE. Cut off the small rectangle on the end. Fold on the score lines and slightly curve the unscored section of the DSP. Add Liquid Tombow on the tab and adhere. Fold the bottom flaps with Liquid Tombow between each to form the bottom of the basket.

I then cut 2 strips from the Sale-A-Bration So Very Vellum, that you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase! I wrapped one strip around the basket and secured it with Glue Dots in the back. I curved the other strip slightly and formed a handle. I added Liquid Tombow to the ends and adhered them inside the basket.

I used the adorable Welcome Easter to stamp the cute little critters with Gray Granite ink. I stamped the chick onto Daffodil Delight Cardstock, the lamb onto Whisper White and the bunny onto Sahara Sand Cardstock. I used Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Smoky Slate and Basic Black Blends to color them in. I used a Sponge Dauber with Blushing Bride ink for their cheeks.

I cut them out with Paper Snips and adhered them to the baskets with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment with Gray Granite ink onto DSP strips and flagged the ends. I tucked it under a bow made from the baker's twine in the Tags & More Accessory Kit. I finished it off with a Heart Epoxy Droplet that I colored with a Flirty Flamingo Blend.

We still have 3 weeks of Sale-A-Bration and you can get this pastel vellum for FREE when you order these products to make these sweet little Easter baskets. Contact me today to order or go Online and use HOST CODE: MFWXGKWR. Thanks so much for stopping by!
