Hello there! During the month of November I offered a FREE Class To Go with the purchase of 3 products from the Christmastime Is Here Suite. I wanted to share the projects made with this gorgeous suite of products! For this card I added a piece of the specialty DSP onto an Early Espresso base. The paper has gold foil accents and is so beautiful! I simply cut out the flowers from a sheet of DSP using the Rose Dies. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink onto Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and used the dies to cut it out, along with the border pieces I cut from Gold Foil Sheets. I added a piece of the gorgeous Gold Shimmer Ribbon under the sentiment and trimmed the ends. Super quick & simple & stunning!
The colors featured in the suite are Cherry Cobbler, Poppy Parade, Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce & Mossy Meadow. This card is all about Poppy Parade and is so bright & cheery! I stamped off the Poppy Parade twice for the background on the Petal Pink Cardstock, and did the same for filling in the berries. This is a double-configuration stamp set, meaning it includes a cling stamp and a photopolymer stamp set included together. I stamped the rose image with the cling stamp and then was able to easily fill it in with various colors using the coordinating photopolymer stamps. This is the first time SU! has offered a stamp set like this and it makes a gorgeous multicolor image quickly and easily! I added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, which were FREE with this class to go!
For this card I used the photopolymer stamps without the line image, which give it a soft watercolor feel. I stamped off the flowers using Cherry Cobbler ink on Very Vanilla CArdstock. I then added the leaves using Mossy Meadow ink and the pinecones using Early Espresso ink. I added the berries with Cherry Cobbler ink, full strength, and for the sentiment as well. I stamped the flower centers with the berries image with VersaMark and heat-embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I formed the ribbon into an S and anchored it in place with Glue Dots. I attached the sentiment on top with Dimensionals and finished it off with some Gold Glitter Enamel Dot...which you get a bunch of!
The cards were all fairly quick and easy, even though they don't look like it. I added a 3-D project that was a little more stepped-up. I put a treat in a Gold Mini Pizza Box and added the DSP on top. I cut out the smaller flower image with Paper Snips and adhered it with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of the DSP and cut it out with the Rose Dies, including some of the berries & leaves. I then cut out 2 decorative trim pieces from Gold Foil and attached them to the back. I attached it to the box with Dimensionals and added a Gold Shimmer Ribbon bow. I sprinkled some of the enamel dots to really add some sparkle!
