SPOOKTACULAR BASH CARD:

Hello there! Back with another fun Halloween project featuring the Monster Bash Suite. I love the fresh take on this Monster Bash DSP which has a softer palette. For this card I started with a Sahara Sand base and added a layer of the DSP. It makes me want to go look for Colonel Mustard in the Library with a Wrench:)

I then cut out the frame, that I used to resemble an old door knob plate. I used Basic Black Cardstock and the gorgeous Ornate Frames Dies. I LOVE these little frames and labels...they can be used all year long, not just for Halloween! I used the Smooth Sailing Dies to cut out the key hole.

Next, I stamped the mummy and sentiment with Memento black ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and used the dies to cut them out. I colored the background of the frame with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends. I then punched out the doorknob from Basic Black Cardstock using the 1/2" Circle Punch. I used a brand new product from the Holiday Catalog to add some shading and sparkle to the doorknob and plate-Golden Glitz Metallic Ink! It comes in Silvery Shimmer and Celestial Copper as well...can't wait to try them out! Some lucky winner will get the silver pad and refill as a prize at BINGO BLAST! on Saturday!

I attached the doorknob plate to the card base and attached the doorknob with stacked Basic Black Mini Dimensionals. These are so much fun and work perfectly for black cardstock as the white doesn't stand out! I then tucked the mummy and sentiment underneath with full size Dimensionals.

I finished it off with a key from the Classic Garage Metal Elements that I tucked under the mummy with a Glue Dot. And added some fun Monster Bash Enamel Shapes. You can come and make this spooky card at Card Buffet and Coffee Break this month. Don't be left in the dark! Stay tuned for a fun class coming using this awesome Monster Bash Suite! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
