SAILING HOME TREAT BAG:

Hello there! I thought this was a fitting project for today as we leave for our trip to the Greek Isles today! I wish this was the size of the bag I was taking! I think I've packed everything I own! I made this fun little bag for my downline at out Team Meeting last week using the Come Sail Away Suite.

I wanted to shoot a video for FunDay Monday demonstrating how to make this little cutie but time got away from me this week. I'll do that when I get back from our trip. I used the Come Sail Away DSP and Crumb Cake Cardstock for the handles and trim.

I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and used the Smooth Sailing Dies to cut it out. I stamped the anchor with Black StazOn ink onto a Silver Foil Sheet and used the dies to cut it out, along with the flap and rope design on the handles using Night of Navy Cardstock.

I wrapped a piece of Baker's Twine around the handle and tied a bow and added a Sail Away Trinket to the flap with a Glue Dot. I added a velcro dot underneath to keep it closed.

These were so much fun to make and I can't wait to show you how to make them when we get back. Thank you to each and every one of you who made this trip possible for me & Rick! I'll be taking lots of pics and sharing as much as I can along the way! Can't wait to tell you all about it when I get home. Love you all! Thanks so much for stopping by:)
