Hello there! Today I'm featuring a sweet little box decorated with the Path of Petals Bundle. I'll be featuring this bundle all week long so check back for beautiful projects all week long! The adorable little box was made with the Perfect Parcel Dies, which are part of the Parcels & Petals Bundle.
I started with a 8 1/2" x 6" piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock. I was able to cut out 2 dies, needed to assemble the box. Click on the Facebook link to the right to watch a video on how to assemble the box. Before I assembled it, I inked up the raised side of the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder with Crumb Cake ink. I then laid the cardstock inside and pressed on it to transfer the ink to the cardstock. I repeated for both pieces.
I assembled the box with Tear & Tape and filled it with a couple fun-sized candy bars for my attendees at Coffee Break on Saturday. It's the perfect size! I then wrapped a piece of Rococo Rose Gathered Ribbon around it and tied a knot on the side. I used the Petal Labels Dies to cut the label from Gold Foil Paper and tucked it under the ribbon with Glue Dots.
Next, I stamped the sentiment with Merry Merlot ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. I cut it out with the dies and adhered it on the label with Mini Dimensionals. Now for the fun part! I punched out a circle from scrap cardstock using the 1" Circle Punch. I then pulled off 6 petals from the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape and adhered them to the circle, forming a flower. I used the Embossing Buddy on the back of the petals to make them less sticky.
I attached the flower with a Dimensional and cut out the flower bouquet from the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP with Paper Snips. I attached it on top with a Dimensional and added a Designer Element to the center.
Such an elegant little box and the perfect sized treat! Make sure to stop back tomorrow for another project made with the Path of Petals Bundle, which is part of the Pressed Petals Suite. Thanks so much for coming by!
