Hello there! At our last Team Meeting Barbara, one of my downline made these adorable little treat holders and I couldn't wait to make one. I had a bag of Ghiradelli chocolates I wanted to use so I converted the measurements and made a baby size holder. I also wanted to use the adorable gingham pattern in the In Color DSP and it's only 6" by 6" so I needed it smaller so I could use it.
Like I mentioned, I started with a 6" x 6" piece of DSP from the new In Color collection. I scored it at 2 1/4", 2 3/4", 5" and 5 1/2" on the long side. On the short side I scored it at 1/2" and 2 1/2". I used the Bone Folder on all the score lines and folded the top section down. I snipped the bottom vertical score lines up to the horizontal score line on the bottom, and cut off the 1/2" corner square in the bottom section. I then angled all the tabs and assembled the box with Liquid Tombow.
I stamped the sentiment from Parcels and Petals onto Seaside Spray-my favorite!!! using Whisper White Craft ink and heat-embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I used the coordinating Perfect Parcel Dies to cut out the top tag and then used another die to add the cut-out design. I then cut out another tag from Whisper White Cardstock and layered them with Dimensionals. I added an In Color Faceted Dot and a bow made from Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine. So cute! Wouldn't these be perfect for a baby shower?
I made these for Card Buffet with all the new In Colors: Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose and Purple Posy. I had everyone pick their favorite. Which is your favorite? You can still get in on the Color of the Month Club! I'll be putting in the first order later today, so let me know ASAP! Thanks so much for stopping by!
