LASTING LILY STRIPED TREAT BAG:

Hello there! Today I'm sharing a sweet little treat bag that I converted from a flat bag to a gusseted bag to hold some treats. I paired the Striped Treat Bags with the Lasting Lily stamp set-my PRODUCT OF THE WEEK. To convert the bag I trimmed a hair off of the bottom of the bag, and scored it at 1 1/2" across the bottom. I then scored it at 1" on both sides of the bag.

I opened up the bag and folded the center score line inside on one side. I then laid it flat and folded on the new score lines, forming a 'W'. I then repeated the process on the other side. For the bottom of the bag, I cut up to the score line on all 4 sides and folded the flaps in. I adhered the flaps with Liquid Tombow to form the base of the bag.

I added some chocolate to the bag and folded the top down. I then wrapped a piece of Whisper White Flax Ribbon around the bag, angled the ends and closed it with a Gold Library Clip. I stamped 2 leaves on a tag from Sweet Pins & Tags with Mint Macaron ink. I also added the background texture with stamped off ink, and tucked it under the ribbon ends. I stamped a leaf and a stem onto Mint Macaron Cardstock with Mint Macaron ink and cut them out with Paper Snips.

I stamped the lily with Pineapple Punch ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut it out with Paper Snips. I attached it to the tag with Dimensionals and tucked the leaves underneath with Glue Dots. I curved the sentiment slightly and stamped it onto Mint Macaron Cardstock and punched it out with the Duet Banner Punch.

I trimmed off the sides of the sentiment and layered it on top of the other banner with Dimensionals. I then attached it to the bag with Dimensionals as well. I tied a bow with the Team Room Ribbon Combo Pack and attached it with a Glue Dot. I finished it off with a few Basic Pearl Jewels.
