Hello there! Today I'm sharing a card that I CASED from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. In case you're not familiar with what CASE means, it stands for Copy & Share Everything:) I rarely copy something exactly, but I just loved everything about this card! I started with a Highland Heather base and cut a smaller layer on top using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I then stamped the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape ink, and stamped off the sprinkles. While I was at it I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock as well.
Next I stamped the cupcake base with Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I then stamped 3 frosting images with Gorgeous Grape, Grapefruit Grove and Coastal Cabana inks.I cut all the pieces out by hand with my Paper Snips, but from now on I'll be able to use the Call Me Cupcake Thinlits to do that job for me!!! I added a layer of Vellum Cardstock with Glue Dots and then stacked the cupcake on top with Dimensionals.
I attached the sentiment to the cupcake with SNAIL and stamped the heart with Lovely Lipstick ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I cut it out with Paper Snips and attached it with a Glue Dot. I can't wait to get my Call Me Cupcake Thinlits today! While I find it relaxing to cut things by hand, that little swirl at the top was not so fun...but now I'll be able to delegate that job to the thinlits!
