BEAUTIFUL PEACOCK CARDS:

Hello there! Back today with some fun projects using the SAB set Beautiful Peacock. I came up with this card for Card Buffet and will be available to make one more time in March. I started with a Berry Burst base and stamped the background with the same color ink. I added a strip of Fabulous Foil Acetate to the bottom with Glue Dots and added a piece of SAB Shimmer Ribbon along the top with Liquid Tombow.

I inked up the feather stamp with Tempting Turquoise ink and then used a Sponge Dauber with Bermuda Bay ink to ink the center. I then used another Sponge Dauber and blended Tranquil Tide along the bottom. I huffed on the stamp and stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstock. I used the 2" Circle Punch to punch it out. I then stamped the peacock with Berry Burst ink and cut it out with Paper Snips. I adhered it on top of the feathers with Dimensionals.

I then used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut out a scalloped circle from Gold Glimmer Paper and attached it to the Whisper White circle with Glue Dots. I added a Delicate White Doily to the back with SNAIL and attached it to the card base with SNAIL as well. I stamped the sentiment with Berry Burst ink and punched it out with the 1" Circle Punch. I attached it with a Dimensional and added a Shimmer Ribbon bow with a Glue Dot.

I removed 4 sequins from the Gold Mini Sequin Trim and attached them with tiny drops of Liquid Tombow. I finished it off with a couple of Gold Foil swirls cut out with the Swirly Snowflake Thinlits for a fancy wow factor!

I was so excited to add a new member to my Team LOL! last month! I had a swap with my downline at one of our monthly meetings and this is the card Barbara made. I love how creative she was with this set by using the feathers to make a wreath!

I'm not exactly sure on colors, but it looked like she started with a Very Vanilla base and added a layer of Garden Green Cardstock that she embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. She wrapped some Linen Thread around the cardstock several times and added a rectangle of Crumb Cake Cardstock.

She stamped the leaves in a circle to form a wreath and used the dot image with Cherry Cobbler ink to look like berries-love it! She stamped the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler onto Very Vanilla and attached it over the wreath. She used the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch to add a couple of faux Enamel Shapes. Barbara is going to be a huge asset to Team LOL! and I can't wait to see more of her creative projects:)

The next 3 projects are from the SU! demonstrator website. They give us weekly emails with all kinds of inspiration for projects and business training. I don't have as much time to spend creating as I used to, so I'm really happy to have this invaluable resource with some more samples to share with you:) This is an adorable little 3" x 3" card which utilizes the 3" x 3" Whisper White Envelopes that carried over from the Holiday Catalog. I started with a Tempting Turquoise base and stamped the background with the same color.

I stamped the feathers with Pear Pizzazz ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and punched it out with the 2" Circle Punch. I stamped the peacock in Tempting Turquoise ink and cut it out with Paper Snips. I attached it to the feathers with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment with Tempting Turquoise onto Soft Sky Cardstock and flagged the end. I added a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper underneath using Liquid Tombow. I attached it with Dimensionals.

I finished it off with a few Iridescent Sequins that I attached with tiny drops of Liquid Tombow. You could make a little stack of these tiny cards and they're the perfect size to tuck inside the Mini Pizza Boxes!

And speaking of Mini Pizza Boxes, how cute is this adorable little box? It would look much better with some homemade cookies inside, but I didn't have any on hand, and didn't want to temp myself by baking some:) I kept the Mini Pizza Box flat and ran it through the Big Shot using one of the circles from the Layering Circles Framleits. Make sure you cut the panel which is the top of the box. The bottom doesn't work so well (eye roll).

I then stamped the feather image with Lemon Lime Twist around the opening to form a wreath. I stamped the flowers with Berry Burst, stampin some off and Rich Razzleberry. I stamped the sentiment with Whisper White Craft ink onto Berry Burst Cardstock and heat-embossed it with White Embossing Powder, and flagged both ends.

I cut a square from a retired cello bag, or you could use a Window Sheet, and adhered it to the back of the lid with Fast Fuse. I attached a piece of a Delicate White Doily to the back of the sentiment with Liquid Tombow and attached it with Mini Dimensionals. I tied a bow from Whisper White Baker's Twine and tucked it under the banner with a Glue Dot. I finished it off by sprinkling a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels around it.

This is the last project I have to share today and it features the Brusho crystals. I started with a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. On top of that I added a layer of Watercolor Paper. I spritzed a little water on the paper tying to form an S shape down the center. I then sprinkled on some Yellow & Gamboge (orange) Brusho and spritzed it a little more.

I then tried to add a few Prussian Blue crystals, but failed miserably. I realized after the fact that the artist used the dot image stamp to get the tiny drops of blue, grrr. I used my Heat Tool to dry the paper and flatten it back out. I then attached it to the card base with SNAIL. I stamped the peacock with Night of Navy ink and cut it out with Paper Snips. I attached it with Dimensionals.

I tucked a piece of Burlap Ribbon underneath and added a strip of Gold Mini Sequin Trim on top with Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment with Tangerine Tango and adhered it with Dimensionals above the burlap. Oops, I need to back up a little. Before I adhered the peacock I stamped the feathers with Tangerine Tango once the paper was completely dry. I finished it off with a few sequins from the Metallics Assortment that I attached with tiny drops of Liquid Tombow.

I hope you were inspired today by these lovely projects and will have some ideas for the Sale-A-Bration sets you choose. I have my Happy Hour class tomorrow night so I won't get any new projects posted tomorrow, but I'll be back soon with some more Sale-A-Bration inspiration for you! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

  1. Beautiful samples. I think my favorite is the one using the Brusho. I love the softness of it. So even though it was a rough start for you it ended beautifully. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I feel some casing about to happen.
