Hello there! So sorry for the big break. I wish I could say I was off vacationing somewhere exotic, but the reality is I had foot surgery:( But I'm finally feeling like being productive and getting back to normal-yay! I'll have some nice gory pictures to share at the end:) I got a bunch of new products I've been dying to get my hands on for several weeks. My next Card Buffet will be on August 3rd and I've got a lot of brand new toys from the new catalog that we'll get to play with!
These are 2 of the choices that will be available to make. One features the Daisy Delight Bundle, which has been stupid crazy popular-so stupid, it's been on backorder since it's been introduced. Hopefully they'll have it all stocked up by next month:) No worries though, there's plenty of other goodies to focus on. The other card features the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle. I won't go into a whole lot of detail with these right now, but I'll share all the details after the event.
I also wanted to let you know about a promotion going on right now. Treat yourself to a gift when you spend $50 in July! For any order of $50 in July, you'll earn a Bonus Days Coupon good for $5.00 off of an order in August. So if you've been drooling over the new catalog and wanting some new products, now is the perfect time! And the best part is there is no limit to how many coupons you can earn. Spend $100, and get 2 coupons, which will earn you $10 in savings in August! I'll be putting in an order soon, so let me know if you want to take advantage of this deal:)
And what's even more exciting is that during August, you'll have early access to the Carols of Christmas Bundle which is featured in the upcoming Holiday Catalog. You'll not only be able to get your hands on an early release from the Holiday Catalog, but you'll be able to redeem your Bonus Days Coupons on the brand new bundle as well! Go to www.stampinup.com and search Carols of Christmas to see this brand new set.
Here's why I've been gone for so long. I've had some serious foot pain for the past year, and I finally opted to have surgery for my Morton's Neuroma.
The doctor said it was understandable that I was in a lot of pain as the nerve he removed was quite large.
Crazy as it sounds, the worst part of the ordeal was the heel pain from having to put my weight there. I had about 2 inches of padding, but it still hurt awful. That and the side effects from the pain meds-not sure which was worse:)
I got the stitches out Thursday and I'm ready to go! I even worked out yesterday for 30 minutes! I can't do everything that I want yet, but I'm making progress!
I'll be back in a few days with more cards we'll be making in August:) I probably won't be back on tomorrow as I'm going over to visit my dad. I went last week and was amazed at how he was talking. He sounded like his old self! But then as I listened, I couldn't really make sense of what he was saying. It seemed like he had developed Alzheimer's:) I looked online when I got home and it sounds like it could be Vascular Dementia, which doesn't sound good:(....I'm praying that tomorrow will be a better day. Thanks so much for stopping by:)
Oow! Been there done that. Welcome back. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful creations with all the new goodies.
ReplyDeleteThank you Betty! Can't wait to be back to normal:)
