Hello there! I got my May Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail a couple of days ago and wanted to share the projects with you. It's called Many Manly Occasions and is perfect for Father's Day.
This is the stamp set that was included in the kit, and true to it's name, can be used for several occasions. It came with a Night of Navy spot.
This is what the cards look like following the kit instructions. I didn't make one as shown because I want to try to sell some at Farmer's Market tomorrow and I wanted to step them up a bit.
I cannot stress to you enough how much I dislike these geometric designs. So much so that I got my paper trimmer out and was going to cut the center design out, but I decided to leave them alone because somebody else may like them. I added strips of Night of Navy Cardstock to the fronts and stamped the sentiment with Whisper White Craft ink.
I added White Embossing Powder and heat-embossed them. I added a piece of Crushed Curry Baker's Twine through the cut-outs and tied a bow. I then adhered the navy cardstock with SNAIL and attached the stickers.
I love that you can personalize your project for any guy in your life, and I stamped a variety with Night of Navy ink onto some retired wooden embellishments. These may still be available on the Clearance Rack.
I finished them off with the cute little enamel stars that were included in the kit. I will be making some more Father's Day cards with these sentiments, so check back down the road for some more alternate uses for them. Thanks so much for stopping by:)
Hello my dear friend. I just happened to see these cards on SCS and thought I would pop by and say "hi". I love the color combo you used to alter this month's Paper Pumpkin...hugs!
