I can't take credit for this beautiful card. You may have seen this on Jenn Picard's Blog. I received this card-actually this is CASED, not her original-from Jenn in an Artisan Swap that we participated in at Convention. I had all the projects from the swap displayed, and several of my card ladies wanted to make this card, so this was the other card we made for card night this month.
She used Naturals Ivory Cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. This was mounted on a Soft Suede base. She ran a piece of Calypso Coral through the Big Shot using the Lots of Tags Die and made a frame out of it by punching the center out with the Extra Large Oval Punch.
She used the Rock and Roll technique for the stamped image-which we all thought was fun! I stamped the flower image in More Mustard first, colored around the edge with the Calypso Coral Marker and rolled the perimeter of the stamp in Chocolate Chip-not sure if that's what she did, but it worked great. I stamped the sentiment over this in Early Espresso.
She tore the corner off and backed it with distressed First Edition DSP. We antiqued it by using a dauber/sponge in Soft Suede and that really brought the texture out. She added a Crumb Cake Seam Binding bow and a little tag attached with Vintage trinkets. The tag was stamped with the Tiny Tags set and punched out with the Jewelry Tag Punch.
Everyone was thrilled to take home such a beautiful card, and I was thrilled that it involved a little less thinking on my part this month. Thanks Jenn! Stop back tomorrow for a cute project we'll be making at our demo meeting tomorrow night. Have a good one!
