SU!P FRIENDS! I'm so happy to share day #6 of my 12 Days of Christmas and this adorable little trio of treat holders! I used the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies and Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set to create these little cuties!
While the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box is adorable as is, I wanted to show off the fancy treat inside! To do that, I measured 3/4" from both sides of the center score lines and cut off the sides with the slits in them. I then scored the cut sides at about 1/4" on both sides, and adhered them to the front & back of the box to form a cute little tote!.
I laid the heart tag die onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and traced around the top to form the front of the penguin. I gently rounded the cardstock with a Bone Folder and adhered it to the Basic Black Cardstock.
I adhered the handles together at the top and added the tags that I cut out with the dies. I used the greenery dies for the reindeer antlers and hair. I used the hole from the tag die to cut the eyes and snowman mouth from Basic Black Cardstock. I used the leftover piece of cardstock from the handle for Rudolph's nose using Real Red Cardstock.
For the snowman, I used the square and oval dies to make his hat. I simply trimmed the oval down a bit, added a Real Red band to the square, and adhered it to the oval. I used a hole punch through the band to add the tag. I used the inside piece of cardstock from the inside of the handle for the carrot nose, trimmed it down a bit, and drew lines on it using a Pumpkin Pie Marker.
Thanks so much for stopping by 😊
Could these be made with the larger Curvy Keepsake die? I've had that one for several years and would like to use it.
