LITTLE TREATS TRIO!:

SU!P FRIENDS! I couldn't wait to share these fun little treat totes with you today made with the Little Treats Bundle! The width of all three boxes is the same-5 1/2", but by adjusting the length of the cardstock, you get 3 different sizes!

This is the cute little box that you make with the dies with no adjustments. I used a piece of Basic Black Cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 7 1/2", so you can get 2 little treat holders from 1 piece of cardstock. I used the Magic In This Night DSP, and it measures 1 1/2" x 6".

I've been seeing some fun alterations on Pinterest for making the box different sizes. This little Treat Tote uses a piece of Basic Black Cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", again, getting 2 boxes from 1 piece of cardstock. Dawn Griffith shared how you can convert the die to make this fun little box here:) https://dawnsstampingthoughts.net/2020/10/two-for-thursday-halloween-christmas-candy-tool-box-videos.html. The DSP measures 1 1/2" x 9".

This adorable Extended Tote uses a piece of Basic Black Cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 11".  The DSP measures 1 1/2" x 12", and another piece measuring 1 1/2" x 2". The finished box is longer than 12", so you'll need to adhere this piece to both ends to extend the DSP to fit around the box. You can see a video from Beverlee Morales and her cute design here:) https://stampinalldaywithbev.com/.
The trick to extending the boxes is to let half of the die extend off of the cutting plates. So you line up the top scalloped end of the die to the end of the cardstock. The die will line up perfectly with the width of the cardstock. You then add the cutting plate on top, but make sure the bottom half of the die remains uncovered by the plate.

You will repeat this process on both ends of the cardstock and it will look like this. You then trim off the sides with your paper trimmer, and then extend the 2 score lines on the scalloped piece with your trimmer or Simply Scored tool.

Here's what the 3 different sizes look like: The one on the left is the standard treat holder you'll get from the die with no alterations-the cardstock measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2". The middle Treat Tote is the size you'll get from a piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". The Extended Tote on the right is the size you'll get from a piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 11".
