FABLE FRIENDS PUNCH BOARD BOX:

Hello there! We had our TEAM LOL! Meeting last night and this is the favor that I made for everyone. It features my PRODUCT OF THE WEEK-the Fable Friends stamp set and the Envelope Punch Board. I got the idea for this adorable project from Artisan Sylwia Schreck, and Manuela Stellar-Lubkre helped convert the measurements.

I started with a piece of Gingham Gala DSP measuring 6" x 4 3/8". I scored the short side at 1 1/4" on both sides. I scored the long side at 1 1/8", 2 1/4", 3 3/8", 4 1/2" and 5 5/8". With the small tab section at the bottom, place the DSP onto the Envelope Punch Board with the short side butted along the top.

Line up the left side of the DSP to the 1 1/4" mark and punch. Fold the paper and repeat on every fold, working your way to the bottom. DO NOT PUNCH ON THE OTHER END! Ask me how I know:)

After you've punched one side, fold the DSP as shown and place the long side onto the board. Eyeball where the center is and punch. Repeat until every section along the top is punched.

When everything has been punched it should look like this. Fold on all the score lines with a Bone Folder and snip the bottom score lines up to the vertical score line. Slightly taper the tabs as shown for a more finished look. Add Liquid Tombow to the side tabs and adhere to the other end forming a pentagon shape.

Then add Liquid Tombow to the bottom tabs and work quickly to form the pentagon shape as shown. Run a Bone Folder over the bottom to adhere all the layers together.

Once assembled, your box should look like this. Fill with candy...I put 4 Rolos inside. Cut a piece of Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon to 14" and wrap around the box, cinching it closed, and tie a bow.

You can use your Stampin' Blends to color some of the ribbon to match the DSP if you'd like. I used Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue on mine. I then stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White Cardstock using Highland Heather, Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue ink.

I used the Duet Banner Punch to punch out the sentiment and angled the ends. I then adhered it to another banner with Dimensionals and attached it to the box with Dimensionals as well. I stamped the flower with Smoky Slate ink and colored it with Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede Stampin' Blends. I cut it out with Paper Snips and tucked it under the banner with a Dimensional.

I then finished it off with a few sequins form the Iridescent Sequin Assortment using tiny drops of Liquid Tombow. So cute! I was thinking this could make an adorable chocolate bunny with Early Espresso Cardstock and adhering the top sections together to form ears...I may have to make one:)

We always have so much fun when we get together. If you've ever thought about joining the Stampin' Up! family to get a discount on the products you love, or to supplement your income or earn amazing trips, now is the time to do it!
