Hello there! Here's another project we'll be making at Happy Hour tomorrow night using the set Half Full.
We'll also be making this lovely bottle tag.
And the kicker is this cute little favor I made for the attendees featuring Corky the Snowman:)
I repurposed a wine bottle cork & turned it into an adorable little snowman. I drew his face on with a black marker and added a Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon scarf.
I made his little nose with Embossing Paste. I put a small amount on a Silicone Craft Sheet and shaped it into a carrot shape. When it was almost dry, I added some lines with a Palette Knife. When it was completely dry, I colored it a couple of times with a Pumpkin Pie Marker. I tried to attach it with Liquid Tombow, but that didn't work too well, so I opted for a Glue Dot instead.
I stuck Corky in the bottom of a Clear Tiny Treat Box with a couple of Glue Dots. I then added some of the new shreds from the Occasions Catalog that I was able to preorder. I tucked a Ghiradelli chocolate inside in case he got hungry & added some more shreds.
I ran more of the same ribbon through the lid and tied a bow. You could tie some Linen Thread or Baker's Twine around the bow and easily convert this into an ornament:) I cut a snowflake from Whisper White Cardstock using the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits. I've used these thinlits so much this year & am really going to miss them when they retire:) I folded the snowflake in half and tucked it under the ribbon, securing it with a Glue Dot. I then stamped the sentiment using Mixed Drinks in Real Red ink & used the Classic Label Punch to punch it out.
I hope you'll be able to join me for a fun night of stamping & wine or whatever else makes your spirits bright! Please let me know so I can have one of these cuties ready for you. Thanks so much for stopping by!
