EASTER TREAT BOXES:

Hello there! So excited to share these fun little treat holders with you made with the Curvy Keepsake Box Die. This is such a versatile die and helps you create sweet treat holders in a snap.

I started with this sweet little chick as I wanted to use the sentiment from For Peeps' Sake. As I was working on him I kept getting lots of other ideas for fun Easter projects to make with this die. I started with a 6" piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using the die. This allows you to get 2 die cuts required for making the box. I assembled the pieces together using Fast Fuse.

Before I assembled the box, I stamped the sentiment from For Peeps' Sake on the back using Pumpkin Pie ink.

I used the Blossom Punch for his hair and wings. I just cut out 3 petals, scored them and attached with Liquid Tombow. For his beak, I cut a 1/2" square out of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, scored diagonally, and adhered the bottom with Liqiud Tombow. I used the Owl Builder Punch for his eyes using Basic Black Cardstock and added a pair of googlie eyes. I tried to make some cute little chicken legs for him to stand on, but he was too heavy:( I used the skinny slit throw away piece from the pointy end of the die in Chocolate Chip Cardstock. I cut out 2 and used the Boho Blossom Punch for his feet. I glued the feet to the skinny pieces and then attached to the bottom of the box using Liquid Tombow, and bent them upwards. I gave him some rosy cheeks using a Q-tip in Pink Pirouette ink. Finally, I cut out the tag, which comes with the die, in Whisper White Cardstock. I colored the sentiment with a Pumpkin Pie Marker and used the stamp-a-ma-jig to get the words centered. I attached the tag with a piece of Crushed Curry Baker's Twine.

For the lamb I used Whisper White Cardstock, and ran it through again using a piece of Basic Black for his face. I used a Bone Folder to gently curl all sides and did it with the black piece as well to make it more pliable when I glued it to the white cardstock. I then ran the die cut pieces through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I used the Bird Builder Punch for his ears and the Scallop Oval Punch for the top, and ran those pieces through with the embossing folder as well.

I scored the ears and adhered with Liquid Tombow. I scored the top of the scallop oval as well, cut a few of the scallops off of each end, and adhered to the underside of the box. I used the Owl Builder Punch in Whisper White for the eyes and attached googlie eyes. For her nose, I used one of the pieces from the Spiral Border Punch in Pink Pirouette, trimmed it down a bit and added a Subtles Candy Dot on top. I then punched out the little heart from the Owl Builder Punch in Pink Pirouette as well and attached with Liquid Tombow.

For the tag, I ran a piece of Pink Pirouette Cardstock through the Big Shot and colored the sentiment with a Basic Black Marker. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the sentiment centered on the tag. I used the Boho Blossom Punch with Pink Pirouette Cardstock for the flower and added a Subtles Button to the center and punched out a piece of Pear Pizzazz using the Bird Builder Punch for the leaf. I attached the tag with a piece of Blushing Bride Baker's Twine. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

For the bunny I used Whisper White Cardstock and assembled the box. I used the Word Window Punch and cut out 2 ears. I ran the die through the Big Shot twice using the pointy end and Calypso Coral Cardstock. I used the skinny throw away pieces and adhered to the ears using Liquid Tombow. I scored the ends and attached to the top using Liquid Tombow.

I cut out the eye circles using the Owl Builder Punch and Smoky Slate Cardstock and attached googlie eyes. I did the same process for the nose using the Spiral Border Punch, cutting the nose to a triangular shape, in Calypso Coral Cardstock. I used a Q-tip with Pink Pirouette ink for his cheeks, and ran the die through again with Whipser White, using the throw away pieces for his whiskers. I glued them in place using Liquid Tombow. I added the tag and stamped the sentiment from For Peeps' Sake using a Smoky Slate Marker and the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get perfect placement. I attached the tag with a piece of Basic Grey Baker's twine.

The payoff is the back and his cute little fluffy tail. I cut one of the pompoms off of the Calypso Coral Pompom Trim and attached with Liquid Tombow. Oh, if only my back side could be so cute...

I hope you enjoyed meeting this sweet little trio today and getting some more uses for the set For Peeps' Sake, and some fun Easter ideas for the Curvy Keepsake Box Die. Thanks so much for stopping by:)
