CHRISTMAS CARD BOX

Okay, did I deliver or what? Actually, I can't take credit for this. Stampin' Up! designed a keepsake box for those of us who got a recruit last month. I just changed it up a bit to fit the new Card Keeper box that's in the new Holiday mini.

I'm offering a class to make this box on Saturday, September 24th. I figured we need a box to haul our
20 Christmas cards that we'll be making at my Stamp-A-Stack on the week-end of October 15/16th, and I thought this would work perfect! Then after we mail out all of our Christmas cards, this would be a perfect place to keep all the Christmas cards we receive!

Even the back looks pretty! But not the backdrop---I just noticed that! The cost of the class is $25 and includes the Card Keeper box, with 6 dividers, and all the supplies needed to make this beautiful box. I'll need payment to reserve your spot by Thursday, September 15th, so I can get all the supplies ordered and prepped. Email me at lmel09@q.com to reserve your spot.

I was really happy with the way the box turned out-I hope you like it too! Thanks for visiting!

You get all 40 yards for only $40! That includes shipping and handling if local. I do have 3 spots still available if you are interested. If I need to mail it to you, the cost would be $43. AND THE WINNER IS...

Congratulations to Robin S. for winning the Fall Flair set. Please email me at lmel09@q.com with your address and I'll get it right out to you! Thanks so much to everyone for visiting and leaving the wonderful comments!

I just got done with our Demo meeting tonight and this is the project we made. I got inspired by all the cute Sour Cream Containers that were in our September Stampin' Success magazine for demonstrators and thought this would be a fun project to make. It's filled with Candy Corn, but you could put just about any kind of candy, small toy or just about anything inside. A quick and easy project for all the little goblins in your life. The cute little owl is from the Warmest of Wishes set in the Holiday mini. It is a Hostess set, so you can only get it by hosting a workshop or with a qualifying order. I would love to help you get this set for free, along with lots of other goodies, and show you and your friends some other fun and easy projects for the Holidays!

I just found out today that our daughter Olivia is going to be having a little boy in January. She had an ultrasound today and it was very obvious that she is having a boy! Now our 5 year old grandson, Gabriel will have a buddy to teach all kinds of things to-I sure hope he's forgot about Sharpies and Comet-been there, done that...several times! Thanks again for your wonderful comments and for coming by tonight. I'll have another card for you tomorrow. Have a good night!

PIGGY BANK BIRTHDAY CARD

I made this birthday card for my niece Josie who just turned 11. I used one of my favorite new sets from the catalog called Button Buddies. This is one of 3 sets that I earned for FREE because I got a new recruit during a Convention Challenge! Someone said that free stamps stamp better, and I have to  say, I agree! When I first saw this cute little pig, I thought of a piggy bank. It was a little challenging getting the money to fit though. I made a little belly band for the bills and made it as snug as I could. I attached it to  the stamped pig image and stamped another pig, cut it out, added a little curly tail, and attached it using 3 stacked dimensionals on each side. I recently watched the Workshop Wow DVD that I got at Memento Mall, and one of the clever demonstrators showed how to make a rectangle border. I used the Scallop Squares Duo Die and cut out two squares. I layered one on top of the other and covered up the seam with ribbon. Thanks for coming by and stop back tomorrow! Good night!

Supplies used for this card: Button Buddies, On Your Birthday, Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Sets.

NUGGET BIRTHDAY CAKE CARD

This is a birthday card I made for my sister using the idea Carrie Cudney gave us at Convention...or was it Regionals? Sad, I can't remember! Anyway, I wrapped 3 Hershey Nuggets in Domestic Goddess DSP and wrapped them in So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon. I placed them on top of a cake pedestal that I stamped with the Crazy For Cupcakes set. I added a little scallop border to the 'cake stand', a tag, a candle, a couple buttons and another bow to finish it off. I used two other coordinating papers for the background. Man, that is really bugging me...was it Convention or Regionals? If someone knows, please let me know so I can sleep tonight! Thanks for visiting-hope you like it!

Supplies used for this card: Crazy For Cupcakes, Pennant Parade Stamp Sets.
Basic Grey Stamp Pad. Basic Grey, So Saffron Stampin' Write Markers.
Very Vanilla, Basic Grey, So Saffron Cardstock. Domestic Goddess Designer Series Paper.
Scallop Trim Border, Jewelry Tag Punches.
So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon. Linen Thread.
Neutrals Buttons. Dazzling Details. Dimensionals. SNAIL.
