ARTISAN AWARD PROJECT # 3: LITTLE BOY BLUE PAGE

I hope you're having as much fun on the hop as I am. This has been a first for me. And I'm loving the little bits of history about each others projects. You should have just come from Cheryl's place, and that's always a hard act to follow!

This is another page featuring our grandson Gabriel. He is our daughter Emily's little angel. Although some days his name is the only angelic thing about him! I think he was close to two years old in these pictures and he had the most beautiful blonde curly hair and blue eyes. That was a first for us; our 3 babies had dark hair, dark eyes and straight hair. Gabe still has a few curls which I can't bear to cut off, so he gets a little shaggy sometimes! He was out in the yard sniffing dandelions on this sunny day.

As soon as I pulled this adorable paper out of the package, I knew it had Gabriel's name all over it. It was a good thing that I already had a plan for this page because it was the last project and I was out of time. I love the pennant trend and wanted to use that somehow. I knew right away what the title for this page was going to be, so I decided to spell each of the words out with pennants, blocks and tags. My hubby was bubble-taping and packing the rest of my projects while I was frantically poking the paper out of all of those little holes...in my pajamas...at two o'clock in the afternoon...it wasn't pretty!

We got the package out in time to overnite it to Utah, and we breathed a big sigh of relief. Until it hit me while I was soaking in the tub that I forgot to include the photo release form! I know I complain about technology alot, but man was I thankful for fax machines that day!
