OH WHAT FUN TAGS & PACKAGES:

Hello there! Santa has been busy around here making deliveries to lots of good girls who made the 'Nice'list. I used the adorable Oh What Fun Tag Kit found in the Holiday Catalog~while supplies last. This was a super fun & easy project to put together, and I had enough leftover tags to convert to cards:)

I used a Mint Macaron base and used a retired edgelit to trim off one end. I used the coordinating Oh What Fun Stamp Set to stamp the tag and the edge of the card in Mint Macaron ink. I tried to attach most of the tags with Glue Dots so they could be taken off and used if wanted. I wrapped all the gifts with kraft paper and I used the fun Real Red Pompom Trim to decorate this one.

For this card I used a Garden Green base and added a piece of Home for Christmas DSP. I added a piece of Everyday Chic Washi Tape and Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim on top. I added a few sequins from the Metallics Assortment with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, which works great for these! For the package I used Real Red Cotton Ribbon.

I started with a Mint Macaron base for this card and added a piece of Garden Green Cardstock down the center, which I embossed with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder. I used the fun little flourish image from the stamp set in Mint Macaron ink, which is going to be getting alot of use:) I attached the tag to a piece of DSP from the Brights DSP Stack. I added a pair of Home For Christmas Enamel Dots and used Gold Glitter Ribbon for the package.

For this card I started with a Real Red base and added a piece of Brights DSP from the DSP Stack. I attached the tag and added a strip of In Color Envelope Paper. I finished it off with a few Home For Christmas Enamel Dots. I used Gold Cording Trim for the package.

I started with a Smoky Slate base and added a piece of Neutrals DSP from the DSP Stack. I layered the tag onto a piece of Red Glimmer Paper and stamped the package in Real Red ink. I used the Silver Satin Ribbon for the package and added a bow to the tag.

I used a Real Red base for this card, which I ran through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder. I added an old design from the Regals DSP Stack and tucked a piece of Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim underneath. I stapled a piece of Gold Sequin Trim to the tag and sprinkled a few around the card, adhereing with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. I used Gold Cording Trim for the package.

I used a Kraft Tag A Bag gift bag (which doesn't match my kraft wrapping paper too well:(, and added Silver Satin Ribbon to both packages.

For the card I started with a Smoky Slate base and added some retired Regals DSP from the DSP Stack. I added Silver Satin Ribbon as well and layered a Gold Glimmer Paper tag underneath made with the Deco Labels Framelits. I used Smoky Slate ink for the background image.

I used Gold Cording Trim to decorate these packages.

For this card I started with a Mint Macaron base and added a piece of In Color Envelope Paper. I added a scalloped border using the Berry Basket Die & Red Glimmer Paper. I tied a piece of Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around it and added some to the center of the Regals Button, which I attached with Glue Dots.

I used one of the Petite Cafe Gift Bags and added a strip of DSP from the Neutrals DSP Stack. I added a Real Red Cotton Ribbon bow and attached it underneath the jingle bell with Glue Dots.

I started with a Smoky Slate base and added a piece of DSP from the Neutrals DSP Stack. I added a strip of DSP from the Brights DSP Stack underneath. I finished it off with a Home for Christmas Button adorned with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

I used Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim to decorate these packages and added Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

For this card I started with a Garden Green base and used that fun flourish image along the side in Garden Green ink. I added a Real Red scallop border to the tag using the Berry Basket Die. I tucked a piece of Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim and a pair of banners underneath the label.

I used a Sketched Dots Tag A Bag Gift Bag for this package and added a belly band made with the In Color Envelope Paper. I added a piece of DSP from the Brights DSP Stack underneath the tag.

Sorry this is so blurry...but I used a Garden Green base, which I ran through the Big Shot using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to add some random dots and sprinkled with Gold Glitter. I used Gold Glitter Ribbon for the package.

For these packages I used Gold Cording Trim.

I used a Garden Green base and embossed it with the Boughs & Berries Embossing Folder. I added a strip of Gold Glitter Ribbon and layered a piece of DSP from the Brights DSP Stack on top.

For these packages I used Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim. I layered a piece of Garden Green Cardstock underneath the ribbon trim for the Sketched Dots Bag and added a strip of Mint Macaron Cardstock cut with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit underneath the label.

I started with a Real Red base for this card and added a piece of DSP from the Brights DSP Stack. I finished it off with a couple of Home for Christmas Enamel Dots.

These were so much fun to make for my Downline, Club Members, Paper Pumpkin Pals and customers from the past year. I always like to let them know how much I appreciate them, and this is the perfect time of year to do it:) And this is the perfect kit to coordinate it all! I love the color scheme of Real Red, Garden Green, Mint Macaron & Smoky Slate. I hope this inspired you and gave you some ideas for your Holiday gift-giving. All these presents put me in the mood to put my tree up, so that's my next project:) I'm going to finish up some food prep after that and then enjoy tomorrow with my family. Then I'll be ready to start on my Christmas cards, so check back next week. Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome Thanksgiving!!!

MISTLETOE & HOLLY NOVEMBER PAPER PUMPKIN:

Hello there! I'm excited to share this month's Paper Pumpkin kit with you. It's called Mistletoe & Holly and to be honest I thought it kinda sounded old lady, but I was pleasantly surprised! Actually the old lady kit was last month, lol.

Here are the samples made according to the kit directions. I love the color scheme~Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive & Crumb Cake. While I like them both, the striped background card seemed to have too much white for my liking...

(#1)So I tried it with the Crumb Cake base and I like it a lot better:)

Here's the stamp set which will get put to good use for my Christmas cards:) And it came with a Cherry Cobbler Spot.

(#2)For this card I used the Circles Framelits Dies along with the Big Shot using an older pattern from the Brights DSP Stack. I added a Gold Satin Ribbon bow with Glue Dots and used the Wonderful Wreath Framelits to cut out the sentiment using Gold Glimmer Paper.

(#3)On this card I added a holly border with the die cuts provided and tucked 2 of the dotted cardstock pieces underneath. I added a messy swirl underneath the sentiment with Gold Metallic Thread and adhered with Liquid Tombow. I added 2 small banners to cover the seam where I butt the cardstock together. I added a Regals Button on top thread with Old Olive Baker's Twine.

(#4)For this one I added a strip of Season of Cheer Washi Tape across the top. I made a banner out of one of the Cherry Cobbler cardstock pieces and stamped the holly image as a background. I cut a label out of a piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Deco Labels Framelits and Big Shot. I stamped the flourish with the Oh What Fun set in Crumb Cake ink. I added a Gold Cording Trim bow around the mistletoe and tucked a piece of a Tea Lace Doily under the banner.

(#5)On this card I added a strip of Season of Cheer Washi Tape underneath the sentiment and added a layer of Gold Glitter Ribbon on top. Notice one of the cute envelopes in the background that came with the kit. It kind of bothered me though pairing it with the green stripe going in the opposite direction...

I had the brilliant idea of adding an envelope liner and coloring the border with an Old Olive Marker, but I forgot about the seal adhesive, which didn't color well at all...

(#6)So I ended up covering the whole flap with DSP, as you can see in the background. It was a case of
OCD-NCD (No Can Do:) Now I'll be able to sleep tonight! For this card, I used the negative piece of the mistletoe die-cuts and trimmed it to size. I added a Gold Satin Ribbon bow and adhered it with Glue Dots. I think this might be my favorite alternate project made with the kit, which I like to save for last, but I had to get the envelope issue out of the way:)

(#7)For this card I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to add tiny dots of glue to the cardstock using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. I then sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I added a piece of White Glitter Ribbon underneath the Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

(#8)For the last card I added a strip of Season of Cheer Washi Tape and added a piece of Gold Satin Ribbon on top. I added a messy swirl underneath the sentiment with Gold Metallic Thread and added a few sequins from the Metallics Assortment.

I didn't make any 3-D projects with this kit, as I figured this time of year everyone wants as  many cards as they can get. I want to give a shout-out to everyone who is a current subscriber or who subscribed last month, as SU! donated $36, 378 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! Thank you so much for your help!!!

Just a reminder that we won't be meeting on our usual night this month as it falls on Thanksgiving. We will meet on Thursday, December 3rd instead. If you're interested in joining us, I can order a Refill Kit for you. It won't have the stamp set or Cherry Cobbler Spot, but you can use mine. You'll need to let me know ASAP so I can get it ordered in time to be here next Thursday. Thanks so  much for stopping by!

MORE BLISS:

Hello there! I have a few more alternate ideas for October's Paper Pumpkin Blissful Bouquet. I have a customer who only likes to send out full-sized cards, so I made a few adjustments for her. I started with a Calypso Coral base and cut the Sahara Sand cardbase that was included in the kit, in half. I inked up the stem image with Sahara Sand ink and made a crosshatch design for the background. I then adhered it to the base with Dimensionals.

For this design, I started with an Old Olive base and stamped the leaf image for the background. I used the other half of the Sahara base and ran it through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I then stapled a piece of Hello Honey Striped Cotton Ribbon to it and added the leaf layer with Dimensionals.

For this card, I started with a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I then used one of the Sahara Sand card bases included with the kit and adhered the leaf paper. I tied a piece of Calypso Coral Seam Binding around it and punched out a circle using the 1 3/8" Circle Punch and Crushed Curry Cardstock. I cut out one of the flowers and adhered to the center using a Dimensional. I then added a faux-stitched border around it using the scraps from the gold stickers. I then added the sentiment with Gold Foil Sheets and Hello You Thinlits.

I adhered the Sahara cardbase to the Calypso Cardstock and added a couple of gold leafs.

I wanted to share a few Halloween pics of my little wolf and Little Red Riding Hood. Not sure Elise appreciated Quinten's howling:)

But he kept howling anyway...

Mollie, these are for you:)

Okay, somehow I managed to get Donald Trump...

...And this is why I don't try to take pictures of toddlers anymore...I need a drink!

This pumpkin dump cake is the best fall dessert! Just mix, dump, and bake - it’s ready in under 1 hour! This will be a family favorite!

Oh, and I almost forgot...I wanted to share the dessert that I made the other night at my Pumpkin Party. It's called Pumpkin Dump Cake~a horrible name, but a really yummy dessert:) This is what it was supposed to look like...

And this is what we got... But it was still yummy:) Here's the recipe: http://thefirstyearblog.com/pumpkin-dump-cake/

Thanks so much for stopping by:)
