FRY BOX EASTER BASKET:

Hello there! I wanted to share this sweet Hostess gift that I made last month using For Peeps' Sake and the Fry Box Die. I started with a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock that I ran through the Big Shot using the Fry Box Die. I assembled it and added a handle using the Candy Dot Bases and Subtles Candy Dots.

I colored the egg images with So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder, Pumpkin Pie, Coastal Cabana & Calypso Coral Markers. I cut them out~keeping them one piece and adhered to the basket using SNAIL. I then added a little grass border over the top using the Fringe Scissors. I tied a bow around the basket using Pear Pizzazz Cotton Ribbon. The tag was stamped with Calypso Coral ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and punched out with the Label Bracket Punch. I cut off the sides using a paper trimmer, punched a hole using the 1/8" Circle Handheld Punch, and attached to the ribbon using Crushed Curry Baker's Twine.

I stuffed the Easter basket with some grass and these 3 little critters. I measured the fun~size candy bars and wrapped them with cardstock. I scored the cardstock so it formed neatly around the candy bars.

For the bunny, I used Whisper White Cardstock & Pink Pirouette ink for his cheeks. The ears were made with the Word Window Punch and the insides were Calypso Coral scraps from the Curvy Keepsake Die. His nose was made with the Spiral Border Punch, cutting the square shape into a triangle. I added googlie eyes...

...and a tail of course, using the Calypso Coral Pompom Trim.

For the chick I used Daffodil Delight Cardstock and Pumpkin Pie for his beak. I used one of the petals off of the Blossom Punch for his hair and the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack for his wings. I gave him some Pink Pirouette cheeks with a Q~tip and googlie eyes.

For the lamb I used Whsiper White Cardstock that I ran through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I used the Small Oval in Basic Black Cardstock for his face. I again made a nose using the Spiral Border Punch in Pink Pirouette Cardstock. I used the 7/8" Scallop Circle for the top of his head and added his ears underneath using the Bitty Butterfly Punch. I finished him off with a pair of googlie eyes.

This was such a fun Hostess gift to make and the Hostess was so 'hoppy' to get it:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

CRAZY ABOUT YOU CARD #4:

Hello there! Here's the final card you'll make with the March CLASS OF THE MONTH:CRAZY ABOUT YOU. I started with a Crumb Cake base and stamped the background image in the same ink. I layered a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock on top, also stamped in the same color. I added a strip of Flowerpot DSP and topped that with a So Saffron sentiment made with the Hello You Thinlits with the help of the Big Shot. I ran the die through a second time with Crumb Cake Cardstock, layered it underneath the So Saffron using Liquid Tombow, and gave the sentiment a little extra dimension.

I added a piece of  Retro Fresh Washi Tape to the side and used the 1/4" Circle Handheld Punch to make the notches on the sides. I then tied a piece of  Linen Thread around and tied a bow. I punched a hole with the 1/8" Circle Handheld Punch and added an Antique Brad.

Finally, I added an Essentials Wooden Element that I stamped with Tangerine Tango ink. I adhered it to the card with Glue Dots.

I hope you enjoyed seeing all the different possibilities you can do with this set, and will consider ordering the class so you can make these cards for yourself. Just a reminder, the March CLASS OF THE MONTH:CRAZY ABOUT YOU includes the Crazy About You photopolymer stamp set and the Kit for making the 4 cards posted over the past 4 days. The cost is $35. CRAZY ABOUT YOU CARD #3:

Hello there! I'm happy to share another card with you today included in the March CLASS OF THE MONTH:CRAZY ABOUT YOU. Like I previously mentioned, I don't care for the flowers in this stamp set, but I was able to come up with one that I could live with. This proved to be a challenging set for me to work with, but I was pleasantly surprised with how this card turned out:) I started with a Crisp Cantaloupe base and added a layer of Very VanillaCardstock on top.

First, I cut the scalloped edge by running it through the Big Shot using the Large Scallop Edgelit. I then ran it through again using the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder. It went through a third time using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, keeping the scalloped edge out of the folder. I then ran the coordinating Hello You Thinlits through to get the 'happy' greeting.

For the flower, I stamped the image 3 times. The first time was with Crisp Cantaloupe ink, and 2 more in Blushing Bride. I cut out the whole Crisp Cantaloupe flower, then the medium layer, then the smallest layer. I put a Dimensional between the 2 bottom layers. I then thread a piece of  Silver Metallic Baker's Twine through a Very Vintage Button and attached with Glue Dots. I ran a piece of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon around the Very Vanilla piece and adhered with SNAIL. Next, I wrapped a long piece of the Silver Metallic Baker's Twine around twice and tied a bow. I attached the Vanilla piece to the Cantaloupe base with Dimensionals.

I attached the flower with Dimensionals and the 'happy' sentiment with Liquid Tombow. I then stamped the sentiment in Crisp Cantaloupe ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I tucked it underneath the satin ribbon using Glue Dots. For the envelope, I rock 'n rolled the flower to coordinate with the 2-tone flower on the card. For this technique, I stamped the flower in Blushing Bride ink first, and then again in Crsip Cantaloupe, inking only the outside edge, working in a circular motion.

I hope you're getting lots of ideas for this versatile set, and are thinking of other occasions that this card would work for. Check back tomorrow for the final card included in this class. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

CRAZY ABOUT YOU CARD #2:

Hello there! Here's card #2 that you'll make with the March CLASS OF THE MONTH:CRAZY ABOUT YOU. I started with an Old Olive base and stamped the leaf image in the same ink. I added a piece of  Sweet Taffy DSP that I ran through the Big Shot using the coordinating Hello You Thinlits, letting the sentiment run off the edge.

I used the Spiral Border Punch with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock to create the fun little border and adhered it to the back of the DSP using SNAIL, and then attached to the card front. I used the Floral Frames Collection Framelits for the flower in Daffodil Delight Cardstock and used the 2" Circle Punch for the center using Melon Mambo Cardstock.

I then ran the circle through the Big Shot using the Chevron Embossing Folder. I added a strip of Tempting Turquoise Cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Old Olive as well. I finished it off with a Brights Button accessorized with a bow made with Crushed Curry Baker's Twine that I attached with Glue Dots.

As I mentioned yesterday, I had a hard time getting started with this stamp set. I think maybe because the fun whimsical font of the Thinlits doesn't really jive with the icky flowers. So for this card I just ignored them and made my own, lol. Make sure to stop back for another card tomorrow that features a flower that I can live with:) Thanks so much for stopping by!

MARCH CLASS OF THE MONTH:CRAZY ABOUT YOU:

Hello there! Happy March to you. One day closer to Spring~hooty whoo! Here is March's Class of the Month featuring the stamp set Crazy About You. I gotta be honest, I wasn't really crazy about this set at first, and I strongly disliked the flowers. But I figured it would be a versatile set useful for many occasions, so I decided to go with it. After taking about 8 hours to come up with the first card, it started to grow on me:) So these are the 4 cards that you'll make with the purchase of this class. The cost is $35 and you'll receive the photopolymer stamp set along with a kit to make each of these cards. As always, I'll need to know by March 10th if you'd like to order the class. If you already own the stamp set, the kit would be $10.

For this card I started with a Baked Brown Sugar base and added a piece of Confetti Celebration DSP.  I took a piece of Lullaby DSP and made a tag using the Angled Tag Topper Punch. I then ran it through the Big Shot using the coordinating Hello You Thinlits. I adhered a Window Sheet to the back with Liquid Tombow.

I made a fun shaker card by adding some In Color Sequins onto a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock and attaching it to the window sheet with Dimensionals. The excess long strips along the edges work perfectly for this. I then added a piece of Whisper White Cotton Ribbon to the tag and positioned it at an angle on the card front. I stamped the sentiment in Baked Brown Sugar underneath the tag and added a piece of  Stacked With Love Washi Tape above. I adhered the tag with SNAIL.

Finally, I added a piece of  Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine to a Sweet Dreams Button,  adhered with Glue Dots, and sprinkled a few more sequins around for fun.

Make sure to check back tomorrow for more details about the next card in the kit. Thanks so much for stopping by:)
